I don't know why it just sounds so affected!

GobblersKnob · 16/09/2012 13:26

So what?

waterlego6064 · 16/09/2012 13:28

It's a bit annoying. Naomi Wolf did this a lot in her webchat the other week.

Cherrypieplum · 16/09/2012 13:28

So it's irritating! So there!

Cherrypieplum · 16/09/2012 13:29

It sounds thick, in my opinion.

So, I was just looking though AIBU, and I saw this thread. Decided I have no opinion one way or the other

Ragwort · 16/09/2012 13:35

Totally agree with you but it has become really common (in both sense of the word), I now have to concentrate really hard not to say it myself Grin.

JamieandTheMagicTorch · 16/09/2012 13:35

Actually, I do it in conversation. I think it's a continuation of something you've been thinking about and then you voice it.

jellybaby25 · 16/09/2012 13:35

yes. yabu.

Softlysoftly · 16/09/2012 13:35

Cherrypieplum · 16/09/2012 13:40

I think it's because it's used such a lot. My husband is overusing 'as such' at the moment and that is even more annoying!

I didn't really do it.

I could never be so cruel.

I'm sure the helicopter hovering above your house right now is a complete coincidence.....
