Apparently he is favourite to play Christians and I for one would not be impressed!

I haven't read the books, well I read the first chapter... But from what I've heard about them... He could pull it off. He has a certain je nais se quoi...

I'm busy reading the first book and at first going off what others had said I pictured Alexander Skarsgard but after readfing it I'm not sure.

On a side note, it really grates on me when Ana says "my sex" as in "he touched my sex." Never heard of it that way before.

I guess u don't read a lot of chick lit user , its often referred to as 'my sex'.

As Christian Grey is an orphaned millionaire business with a variety of vehicles (some air borne), a secret room full of equipment in his house, a butler, a habit of going away on mysterious and unexplained 'business' trips, takes phone calls from an authority figure from his past, has a butler type person and every time he has sex somebody says or thinks 'Holy Cow,' I think it is safe to assume he is actually Batman and should be cast accordingly.

And agree with Back2, The Gosling would turn it down. But if he was in it, or Henry, or Eric or this Mat guy, I would give it a watch, just to check their acting abilities. But if they said Holy Cow I'd switch it off...
