sammy there will be no light sabres and I'm thinking maybe just the bridal party. It's a wee nod to non catholic DP getting married in a catholic church. Will make him feel more at home as he's a huge SW fan!

We were going to name tables after quotes from films then the priest said that the bridal entrance and signing of register can be any music (within reason) as its not part of the religious ceremony (I'd need to check the imperial march is within reason)

So we were thinking of a "come what may" from Moulin Rouge for signing of register as that's my favourite film and Star Wars is DPs favourite film, so it's the only logical thing to do. I've totally convinced myself now!!

Last week some squatters took over a local building and the police were called to implement the brand new squatters law.

A bit of a crowd had gathered to watch the guys on the roof so the police decided to put on their riot gear just in case.

I was following the live feed in the local paper and it reported that as the riot police approached, the crowd starting singing the imperial march. I giggled about that the whole day as was truely gutted I missed it!
