That the women on loose women that I just accidentally channel hopped too has the same outfit and earings etc as she had on, on the one show last night?

or am I being stoopid and haven't realised it's not live

Same earrings wouldn't matter. Is that definitely the same dress? Emma Thomson does seem a bit eccentric though.

ShatnersBassoon · 06/09/2012 13:08

Not rank at all. She probably had the dress on for an hour or two at most last night.

Pickles77 · 06/09/2012 13:09

But surely you'd want to glam up! I would?
Defo the same dress cos my mum keeps going on about how much she luffs itGrin

I thought she did Pickles, but then I thought I was going mad!

Don't know if it is rank or not, she might have only had it on for an hour or two last night.

VinegarTits · 06/09/2012 13:10

oh it Rank, even if the clothes were still clean i wouldnt wear them twice in a row, some of the women i work with do this and i think its minging, makes me wonder if they wear the same underwear too

squeakytoy · 06/09/2012 13:14

If I only had something on for a couple of hours, and it was still clean, I certainly wouldnt wash it again before wearing it next. Nothing rank about it at all.

VinegarTits · 06/09/2012 13:16

i woulnt wash something i wore for a few hours either, but i wouldnt wear it again the next day (maybe the next week) as people will notice and think 'urgh same clothes again'

LST · 06/09/2012 13:16

It's not rank.. Hmm

I often wear something and hang it back up if it's not dirty. I shower everyday so hardly rank is it.

Goofus · 06/09/2012 13:17

I often wear same outer clothes a couple of days running. Jeans/trousers especially. I would never dream of wearing underwear more than once.
Would people really assume that of me? Shock

MrsReiver · 06/09/2012 13:21

It's not rank, given the comments she made on The One Show about the dress being "ridiculous" I imagine she only wore it for the duration of the show last night and again today. The dress was specifically made for the promotion of the Peter Rabbit book - it's a tartan that was designed for Peter, and lines the inside of the book.

*disclaimer DS is writing about the new book for his Current Affairs homework.

VinegarTits · 06/09/2012 13:23

Trousers i think you can get away with as long as you make them look like youre wearing a different outfit, but to wear the exact same outfit 2 days on the run would make me think you hadnt whad a wash

JodieHarsh · 06/09/2012 13:25

a) it's not rank, don't be silly.

b) they probably film about three shows in one day, no?

kiery · 06/09/2012 13:26

Yes YABVU .
Nothing at all wrong if she wore same outer clothes if she only had them on for a few hours.
Do you think people with no access to an automatic washing machine change the clothes they wear all day, everyday? I think not and I don't think they are rank.

Randomchocolatebiscuit · 06/09/2012 13:29

I used to have a colleague who wore the same outfit every day for a whole half term. It had all manner of food stains down it. After each school holiday she would come in with her other outfit on.

I do not remember her smelling of BO. This was about 3 years ago, not long.

LadyInDisguise · 06/09/2012 13:30

to wear the exact same outfit 2 days on the run would make me think you hadn't had a wash
Why? Don't you take your clothes before going in the shower?

Sorry but I can't see the relationship between having a shower or not and wearing the same clothes 2 days in a row.
And actually you can also not have a shower for days and never the same outfit 2 days in a row (which actually doesn't mean you've washed them. You could have easily have put them back in the cupboard for a few days).

I have to say the presumptions on this thread are leaving me ShockHmm

LadyInDisguise · 06/09/2012 13:32

And then of course there is the issue on whether you should be washing your clothes after wearing them for a day, regardless if there are dirty or not.

VinegarTits · 06/09/2012 13:32

i guess we have different standards i also iron my clothes which is almost unheared of on MN

ClippedPhoenix · 06/09/2012 13:33

Or maybe she did a "Denise Welch", partied all night and went straing to the studios Grin

ClippedPhoenix · 06/09/2012 13:33

"straight" of course

WhatYouLookingAt · 06/09/2012 13:33

Why is it rank? Is the woman not sparkly and shiny and pimped up enough for tv?
Fuck forbid that anyone should wear the same outfit 2 days in a row, how dare she? Hmm

VinegarTits · 06/09/2012 13:34
Grin
Pickles77 · 06/09/2012 13:34

Maybe it's not rank then as I do wear things twice, but I think if your promoting yourself etc

IawnCont · 06/09/2012 13:34

"to wear the exact same outfit 2 days on the run would make me think you hadnt whad a wash"

Jeez. That's a big leap to make. Besides, do you really notice people's clothes, day-in, day-out?

VinegarTits · 06/09/2012 13:38

one woman in my office has been known to wear the same jumper 3 days in a row, yes i noticed, yes i thought urghhh (on day 2), its just my opinion, dont take it personally

CremeEggThief · 06/09/2012 13:40

YABU. It is (at the very least foolish) for anyone aged over three not to get at least two days wear out of all your clothes, excepting underwear and socks.
