Letting my DD pay

DD has a thing about money and likes putting it into slots. I picked her up to pay for the parking and there was a queue (which we had also stood in) and as DD was putting money in someone behind us groaned theatrically and said "Some of us HAVEN'T got all day!"

So who was U? Me for letting DD pay or the rude man? Grin

Ali, what IS your problem? Hmm

I have to say folks it only added 5-10 seconds (if that!) as I had money and ticket prepared, picked up the DD, guided her hand to the slot and done.

Possibly (very Grin) mildly annoying but then so are old dears fumbling for change, teenagers yakking on phones then shrieking "OMG where is my ticket!" ... Grin

We weren't that offensive I promise Wink

We aren't all impatient, Teapots, I am in the YANBU camp.
If 10-20 seconds makes that difference, the complainer is already having a terrible day, not much you can add to it.

I'm coming around teapots Grin

Not to the lift idea though!

numbum · 29/08/2012 16:24

So 20-30 seconds has now become 5-10 Hmm It annoys me when people do things they think are 'cute' but are just a pain in the ass for everyone else in the queue.

As for the poster who thinks it's ok to let their DC press all the buttons in a lift while others are using it Shock. How selfish!!

numbum · 29/08/2012 16:24

OP you obviously don't think you were BU so why post?

TeapotsInJune · 29/08/2012 16:26

I don't think I was BU to add 10 seconds or so to somebody's wait numbum, no Grin

I posted ... out of interest, to see what others thought, if they thought the bloke was rude ... Hmm Y'know, just ... talking ...

Like I say when people deliver their irate-ness out fairly and everybody who holds the queue up gets a bit of it then fair enough.
