Trying hard not to cry or reply with rude email

I make stuff. Thats my "hobby job".

I've given away a few vouchers for things - to use in raffles etc to friends. Some of you may even know what that is.

Any way.... I had dd3 on Thursday night. I'm
Obviously very Tiredy and pathetic as her email has made me sob.

Just checked my emails to find an email from a lady who won my voucher in a raffle. She paid £1 for a ticket and won what I would normally charge £25 for.

You never told me there was a waiting list or that you weren't working which is why i wondered where my item had got to. I expected it to take a couple of weeks to make not months!!!

This is her reply to me saying that as soon as I was back at work I would be letting her know her place on the waiting list and hoped she enjoyed her weekend.

Tell me to get a grip.

ignore her and put her into the junk folder until you are ready to deal with her .Or give her her pound back and tell her to sod off ;0)

Ignore, ignore, ignore and rise above it. I have a feeling I follow you on FB in which case the things you make are utterly beautiful and if she can't wait a few weeks to get one then she's a stupid ignorant cow! if she cancels on you can I have her place in the waiting list?

It the hormones OWO. I cried when the postie delivered junkmail after ds was born.

You have told her when she can expect to hear from you. If she pushes it, then maybe have a word with the raffle organiser see if they can have a word on expectations.

Has that baby got a name yet?

I also know you on FB (I'm 99% sure) and you made it very clear about being heavily pregnant and asking for patience. Your goods look worth waiting for anyway :)

If you feel that her email warrants a reply, just reiterate what you've already said about the waiting list and you getting back to work. Cut out all the niceties, keep it professional and businesslike.

Other than that, just leave it and do her thing when you have the time.

It's an amazing thing that people who get something for next to nothing always have such high expectations of their own importance - reminds me of the loon on the cake thread who expected a full-on Minnie Mouse cake for her DD and refused to pay £20 for it because it was "too much for an unimportant birthday" Hmm

I shall just reply when Im back at my desk rather than chained to the sofa with small not named child attached to boob.

DP frowned at me and has forbidden me to check my emails again.

thumbwitch didn't the cake look expect a home made (and very professionally made) cake to be cheaper than a shop bought one? Loons, all of 'em!

£20 for a cake? Is that ALL?!

The cake woman that does all the party cakes where I live (and they are Devine cakes) chargs between £40-£60 for a sponge cake decorated amazingly. If you don't want to pay that, then go to TESCO and keep shhhhhh

Your creations look truly lovely and she is a grumpy cow. Enjoy your lovely baby, take some time for yourself if you can in any way and don't let people like that get to you
