I have never been able to stand him. SO bloody self satisfied and up himself. All those bloody awful sycophantic people on with him. Stupid, stupid 'characters' with annoying voices. Complete lack of research/awareness of guests - I've heard him rponounce a guest's name wrong, even after correction, more than once.

He did annoy me earlier when he cut short a David Bowie song I really like.

But on the whole he makes me laugh and I get a stupid sense of smugness when I hear him do or say something that I just know is going to rub certain mumsnetters up the wrong way.

I hate radio 2!! I hated Terry fucking tin of tomatoes Wogan! I hate Steve wright. I hate the women with Steve wright who asks every guest if whatever they did was 'cathartic'. I most of all hate that Bruce man and his affected accent! It sounds like he's either putting in the posh or the Scottish accent. I can't tell which.

I like quite a lot of the Radio 2 output - it isn't dad music if, like me, you have a dad who is 91! I find Simon Mayo's interviews interesting and intelligent. So why on earth do they still give bloody Wright house room?

Generally i like R2 - like Chris Evans and Ken Bruce (especially PopMaster) and don't mind Mayo and even Vine (sometimes) but I cannot stand Wright
