Sick

Woke up at 2am and was sick down side of the bed onto a towel that I managed to grab. DH woke up and shouted how 'disgusting' I was and that I was like a child for not being able to get to the toilet on time.

AIBU??

Its not exactly my fault ! Needless to say I cleared it all up. He's left me to lie in this morning but I know he'll be in a mood with me.

When he called me a child I called him a grumpy old bastard!!

It's perfectly normal with a bug etc to vomit suddenly and violently and not make the loo!

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 05/08/2012 12:06

Grabbing a towel sounds very sensible. I've done it, better than sick all over the carpet.

Krumbum · 05/08/2012 12:07

But if your still vomiting more sick up then there is not enough space in the mouth!

delilahlilah · 05/08/2012 12:08

I think you should go downstairs and make sure you share your germs with him, but try to keep clear of DD! When he gets the bug, I suggest you return an appropriate amount of sympathy...

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 05/08/2012 12:08

You can't keep it all in your mouth with a bug necessarily. No way!

rainydaysarebad · 05/08/2012 12:10

Is he going to have his afternoon nap again, even though you're ill?

I'm sorry, but your husband sounds like a complete twat. I really dislike him more and more with every one of your posts.

Why should he be pissed off with you if he spends time with HIS OWN child for a few hours?

Hope you're feeling better.

LesleyPumpshaft · 05/08/2012 12:11

YANBU, he is being vile and very very U.

rubyslippers · 05/08/2012 12:14

What rainyday said

I know it's bad form to carry stuff from other posts, but he is utterly disengaged from family life with his continual mapping

Why should you get up and face the music? You're I'll

I think your problems run much deeper than this incident TBH

KellyElly · 05/08/2012 12:14

You have posted a few times about your relationship and how your DP is. He doesn't really seem to be the partner you would like him to be. This is no meant in a bad way at all but I really think you need to sit him down and discuss your issues in RL rather than just posting on MN. A bunch of strangers on the internet are never going to be able to work your relationship out for you.

Inadeeptrance · 05/08/2012 12:39

A caring partner would be concerned, not angry that you are ill....

Is he usually such a selfish twat?

noddyholder · 05/08/2012 12:41

He sounds awful my dp would get up and help me out if I was sick like that!

cheekypickle · 05/08/2012 13:17

He's still going to have an afternoon nap!

OP posts:
ilovesooty · 05/08/2012 13:20

So what are you going to do about it?

cheekypickle · 05/08/2012 13:21

Nothing! He would probably argue about going for one anyway

OP posts:
pixiestix · 05/08/2012 13:22

He's going to mad with you because you were ill? WTAF? Confused

WorraLiberty · 05/08/2012 13:23

Keep posting about it

cheekypickle · 05/08/2012 13:24

I'm waking him up at 4pm

OP posts:
ilovesooty · 05/08/2012 13:24

Evidently so, Worra

The OP keeps posting to complain about him but isn't prepared to attempt any changes.

crazynanna · 05/08/2012 13:26

Ne'er mind his shoe...be sick on his slumbering face next time. Really give him something to moan about.

crazynanna · 05/08/2012 13:27

Should have put a Grin there as it was obviously a joke...

Meglet · 05/08/2012 13:29

I used to do that with 'morning sickness'. I was forever washing my duvet, and believe me I can move quickly.

pumpkinsweetie · 05/08/2012 13:29

What an inconsiderate bastard!!!
You were ill, you couldn't help it!

WigGold · 05/08/2012 13:30

OP re your last post (and all of it for that matter) you are fucking joking?

Seriously, never said it before but leave the bastard.

Why would you want to exist with this selfish arse of a knob?

cheekypickle · 05/08/2012 13:36

Because I love DD!

Krumbum

I have been caught out before. Trying to hold it in just makes it spray out all over the place and with double the force when comes up.
