Just shite.
Almost as bad as adults referring to school nights or so many sleeps. (in fact the latter shit for anyone over the age of 1)

Each to their own though ay...

BerthaKitt · 15/07/2012 08:14

Those under the age of 1 are not capable of counting sleeps.

Is there anything you do like?

LST · 15/07/2012 08:19

Truly, is there anything you do like, Anna?

Kayano · 15/07/2012 10:05

Does it matter? You use a childlike expression just to try and convey the sheer excitement or happiness or anticipation of christmas an event.

As adults the world is a pretty grim and serious place at the minute and you don't feel the sheer joy and excitement for things as much as when you were an innocent child

So no, I don't give a flying fuck about '6 sleeps to my holidays!' I think, oh good for them, they are really happy and excited.

Yabu

and dull

Iamsparklyknickers · 15/07/2012 10:07

squeakytoy · 15/07/2012 10:15

"me bad" or "my bad"

wtf is that meant to mean????

noddyholder · 15/07/2012 10:21

I've never heard either of those! What does go me mean? Nothing worse than ickle though or bubs/hubs/luff etc. We are women fgs

pictish · 15/07/2012 10:24

MN is FULL of "I hate this expression...I hate that expression, I hate this word...I hate that word" etc etc...

I can't find it in me to give a shit about anyone else's use of expressions, words, or terms...it's up to them and hardly designed to offend, is it?

Some people just look for things to moan about.

noddyholder · 15/07/2012 10:25

This is an online forum not some place where everyone who never judges/criticises comes to hang out and have some sort of love in! I don't think anyone really is bothered /gives a shit but it is chat and NOT RL!

crashdoll · 15/07/2012 10:26

Holibobs! Grin Never heard that word before MN. It makes me cringe and laugh in equal proportions.

Iamsparklyknickers · 15/07/2012 10:26

My bad is another one I like - this is like some sort of sparklyknickers bingo! It just means my mistake.

I'm not really into the fluffyisims though I do call dp bubbylicious occasionally, if it's any consolation he calls me number one loser?
