Just shite.
Almost as bad as adults referring to school nights or so many sleeps. (in fact the latter shit for anyone over the age of 1)

Does it matter? You use a childlike expression just to try and convey the sheer excitement or happiness or anticipation of christmas an event.

As adults the world is a pretty grim and serious place at the minute and you don't feel the sheer joy and excitement for things as much as when you were an innocent child

So no, I don't give a flying fuck about '6 sleeps to my holidays!' I think, oh good for them, they are really happy and excited.

I can't find it in me to give a shit about anyone else's use of expressions, words, or terms...it's up to them and hardly designed to offend, is it?

Some people just look for things to moan about.

This is an online forum not some place where everyone who never judges/criticises comes to hang out and have some sort of love in! I don't think anyone really is bothered /gives a shit but it is chat and NOT RL!
