computer game thread

AIBU in thinking mn needs a computer game thread. I apprectiate I am possibly about to get slaughtered, it would however be nice to see one.

I need to play me some Skyrim at some point. Am Warcraft through and through at the moment. No matter what games I think I'm going to give a good go (Star Wars; Dragon Age; Warhammer) I always come back to good ol' WoW :)

Luckily hubby is as into it as I am so he's not a WoW widower... ;)

Anyone playing Diablo 3? :)

I couldn't beat it.

Fallout New Vegas after Skyrim I think, then for the new ME3 DLC with a hopefully better ending.

I have loads of characters on there. 2 at 85 and one at 82. Loads around the 30/40 mark. I must be an alt a holic too!

I used to play WoW, been pottering about in LOTRO recently. Is Skyrim worth checking out, then? How does it compare to WoW?

Hehe I'm an alt-aholic as well :) Only one max-level character, but a three others over level 80. Don't play as much as I used to since having DS, really miss raiding and such, but he's an awful unpredictable sleeper to say the least! So I'm pretty casual these days.

I loved the fallout games but think I must be cursed when it comes to them. Was right near the end of main mission on F3 after playing for well over 100 hours. Just pootling around the map finishing off side quests etc. when our ps3 got the Yellow Light of Death so that was all my save data gone :(

Then was playing Fallout NV but it eventually got so glitchy that it became unplayable. It was crashing almost every time it had to load up a new area so just had to stop playing in the end.

Its a shame because they are such great atmospheric games.

Skyrim isn't an MMORPG Jean, but it's amazing. One of the best games of the last five years hands down.

I'm playing it right now and mning obviously.
