AIBU in thinking mn needs a computer game thread. I apprectiate I am possibly about to get slaughtered, it would however be nice to see one.

God those dragon bones/scales are a real nuisance! As are the random dragon encounters. I hate it when I'm en route somewhere and the music starts!

I'm addicted to Lydia, I've had her following me around since I got her, very attached to that girl. :) And my war dog!

Has anyone tried stealing a random traveller's horse? its hilarious!

Multitasking with Skyrim again tonight Grin

I use the lightest armour I can, only carry a sword when I loot one, carry half a ton of healing/replenishment potions, and loathe two handed weapons and smithing.

I like my destruction magic myself. I've got Wylkas as my husband. I can see his AIBU thread now

I used two handed hammers. Took a bit of bloody getting used to, you'd hit about 2 seconds after you swung, but you'd hit really hard. That's why I took Marcurio. I wish I'd married him. I married some horrible old Black Country dark elf bastard from Riften. Apparently I was deaf AND blind that day. Shame he died from a hammer to the back of the head.

Loved ME3 til the last flipping 5 minutes. Alas the commanderling has prevented me from playing the extended cut as yet but I will get to it one of these days!

Not played ME series but I read about the ending of ME3, my face was like Shock. Ignoring your fanbase is not cool.

Anyone played Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas? I'm going to play through Fallout 3 + addons again soon. I want to blow up Megaton!

I love the fallout series and fallout 3 was ridiculously fun and the story was great. I plan on getting stuck in to New Vegas once I'm done with Skyrim. So in ten or so years Grin

I think maybe you are BU, or at least B optimistic. As far as I can see any flurry of gaming enthusiasm on MN dies a quick death.

For myself I'd love to see MNers chatting about games - the Skyrim conversation is already kicking off to be much more fun than anything I've ever come across on a fansite.

Ooh I loved Skyrim too. Though I am a bit disheartened now because after over 130 hours total game time since Christmas was well on my way for a platinum trophy only to discover I was unable to get the one for collecting all the Daedric artifacts after inadvertantly destroying one during a mission early on Angry .

If you like horses in Skyrim btw make sure you do the Dark Brotherhood missions...

Am still really enjoying Mass Effect 3 though a bit dubious over what I have heard about endings too - hope I won't be too disappointed. Am also slightly in love with Garrus Blush and wondering if I can get DH to indulge in a bit of cosplay (unlikely) Grin

That sucks about the daedric artefact! DP just told me how to avoid doing that thank goodness.

Skyrim here too. Currently favouring destruction magic and archery and was trying to play a good character but the call of the Dark Brotherhood was too strong. Am using the jester to lug my stuff around but he's starting to get on my nerves now - he's just got no idea about personal space and keeps jolting me when I'm using a bow.

I am totally boring and all about Kaidan. I did get quite miffed that I couldn't romance Vega though...

I really need to get Skyrim. I still have Dragon Age to complete, though, but it's not really doing it for me so far.

Sookeh - glad to see it is not only me :) I also had a huge crush on Alistair from Dragon Age (there is something wrong with me)!

Yep was pretty peed off when I found that out. Am not usually that bothered about Platinum trophies but was only 2 trophies away and was quite looking forward to going on a crime spree to get by bounty up in each area to get the last one but alas was not meant to be. :(

HerbWoman I just killed the jester and stole his clothes as quite liked the outfit :) Do think Dark Brotherhood are the best missions - I usually strive to be "good" too but assasinating people with my bow was just too much fun.

Best way to get the 1000 bounty achievement is transforming into a werewolf in a hold then legging it and repeat in all holds.

Instant 1000 bounty. DP always has the best tips for me Smile

Has anyone got the DLC yet? I haven't tried it, all this talk of Skyrim is making me want to replay the game! I haven't played it since the 1.2 update. god I'm a terrible addict

Does anyone else hate Nazeem in Whiterun? He is so rude! You can't stealthily kill him either because he lives with his wife and the innkeeper downstairs is mental, he can see you through the ceiling. So I waited until the Battle of Whiterun and offed him.

I used the Battle of Whiterun to off quite a few annoying people actually Blush

Not got the DLC yet as I'm still working through the thieves guild stuff but really can't wait for it.

It's such a time sink but I find it really relaxing after a day with the kids.

Says a lot that I find slaying dragons more relaxing than looking after the DC's Grin

I'm still quite a newcomer to skyrim as we have a ps3 and I waited until they had a proper fix for the lag issues. So I've only just picked which side I'm on ( imperial) after a lot of angst and discussion. Dd went for the rebels so we can compare how it goes from different sides of the story.

Does anyone know how to complete the Arcadia quest where you have to pick something up from her shop, I accidentally killed her and I don't seem to be able to do it.
Also got Lydia killed by accident and all my stuff she was carrying vanished. Grrr.

I did have a horse, but I was genuinely upset when it died trying to save me from wolves. So now I walk alone.....

ohyou If Arcadia's dead, her shop stays empty for the rest of the game so that quest's buggered. Sorry :(.

I never got Blood on the Ice to start either because I broke in to the guy's house and stole the evidence before the quest even started. I love Skyrim but it's so buggy.

Same for Fallout 3 actually. Very much like Skyrim but in a post-apolcalyptic world. It's made by Bethesda as well, very much worth playing. . I'm replaying it at the moment. It is so, so so good!
