To think that 2012 can fuck right off.

Just that really. 2012 has been a steaming bag of shite so far and after further bad news today, I just want to say fuck right off 2012.

Am I alone? Is there anyone else out there who has a gripe with the way that 2012 is panning out?

If yes, come and share with me why 2012 can fuck right off for you.

YES. This year my dad died suddenly, 6 weeks later I had a miscarriage, and then got chickenpox. Worst year ever.

Yep I'm in.

DH killed in car crash. New baby a week later, grieving children to deal with while struggling myself.

Yep without I will be glad to see the back of 2012.

I keep thinking of expat too and it makes me think even more about how unfair life can be.

I lay in bed last night and was cuddling my 9 year old DS....such a silly simple thing but it made me so sad for them - they should be doing that with their DD at home with her safe in her bed.......it's always the simple things.

I am so sorry babyheaves, elemantal and icanandiwill. I can't even begin to imagine the grief you are experiencing. Am thinking of you and hopefully things will get better.

I have heard expat being mentioned on quite a few threads - can someone tell me what her story is and where the thread is? Sounds very sad.

Count me in, dd was badly injured in school coach crash in feb and was diagnosed with PTSD yesterday but thankfully we still have her.

Ican, elemental and to all and op hugs and so so so sorry, just keep posting for support on mumsnet it does help with practical advice and support or just being able to vent and say a big FUCKING HELL WHY to life xxx

Ican and Elemental - I'm really sorry to hear that you're all having bad years as well. It really puts my shit into perspective. Lets get some virtual steel toe-capped boots on and kick the crap out of 2012.

S'been shite for us (DP lost his job, my gran reached 90 but 2 months before the long-awaited family gathering she got rapid-evolving demetia and is now at newborn stage, with my mum looking after her being in tears most of the time, and I was just diagnosed with depression) but nowwhere near as bad as others.
Baby, Ican and Elemental, I'm so so sorry :(

Rainydays, expat's dd has leukaemia and is gravely ill. There are lots of prayer threads for Ailidh in active convo's.

So sorry for all of your sad events. I HATE 2012, just wading from one sort of shittiness to another, getting poorer and poorer, achieving nothing, going nowhere.

Nothing that awful has even happened. Its just a bad year (as I said it would be on New year's eve)

I just hope the world doesn't end in December, that would really be shitty!

Over halfway through now, thank God.

I am with you op, I cannot face another family funeral this year, I just can't. As for the myriad of small things that keep going wrong, nah not been the best year I've ever had.

Here's to some sunny days, in the metaphorical and literal sense.

Sometimes I go into her while she is asleep and just put her hair into my mouth, sounds wierd I know but just to smell her is wonderful.

Ican are you and your Dcs getting help at this awful time, do you have support?

Sorry for all sad posters, said a prayer for expat and her dd.

It's strange but I pray now, never did before,don't even no if I belive in a god but it does help when things are bad.
