I accidentally put a cheese slice and a chocolate button in my mouth TOGETHER.

And it tasted brilliant.

That's just wrong, isn't it?

I love crisps and chocolate in the same mouthful.

Heaven.

happystory · 25/06/2012 15:18

Sliver of cheese on a choc digestive..mmmmmm

fruitysummer · 25/06/2012 15:19

I'm currently eating bacon fries and chocolate buttons at the same time.

Not weird at all!

PropositionJoe · 25/06/2012 15:19

Have you tried chocolate Philadelphia?

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 25/06/2012 15:20

I was just going to say chocolate Philly too Grin tis delicious!

picnicbasketcase · 25/06/2012 15:20

megandraper · 25/06/2012 15:20

You're all perverts, perverts I say. I have been corrupted. I blame MN.

I like a haribo sour cherry and a giant chocolate button at the same time.....delicious!!

I also like frozen oven chips when they have been in the oven a few minutes, bloody handsome :)

OlaRapaceFru · 25/06/2012 16:13

Vanilla ice-cream with crushed, salted peanuts on the top. Or slices of fresh apple with nice, tangy slices of cheddar. (I haven't actually eaten either of these for years, but you've all just reminded me of brilliant - but weird - combinations Grin)

One of my current favourites is fresh strawberries with balsamic vinegar

oopslateagain · 25/06/2012 16:19

When I could eat dairy, I loved cheddar and strawberry jam sandwiches. Jam and soya cheese alternative just isn't the same. Sad

LaurieFairyCake · 25/06/2012 16:21

I made a baked chocolate cheesecake with Chocolate Philly yesterday - it's the nicest cheesecake we have ever had.

CurrySpice · 25/06/2012 16:23

Haven't you ever dipped cheese in a chocolate fountain? Then you've never lived

Jodidi · 25/06/2012 16:25

I had a cheese and chocolate sprinkle sandwich yesterday Blush. It was yummy. This was something I started when I was 15 on Guide camp. It's been years since i had it but thought of it and had to do it, and it was just as good now as it ever was.

HarrietSchulenberg · 25/06/2012 16:33

Rhubarb jam on oaty biscuit with brie cheese. Yum. Maybe not that weird but discovered by accident and it's the best thing EVER.

browneyesblue · 25/06/2012 16:37

Bourbon biscuits with cheese triangles... Mmmm

BrainSurgeon · 25/06/2012 16:37

"Vanilla ice-cream with crushed, salted peanuts on the top" - ooohh

SixFeetUnder · 25/06/2012 16:39

Banana and cheese sandwich (even better with a sprinkling of sugar over the banana). Takes me back to my childhood.

rhondajean · 25/06/2012 16:41

Cheese and spiced fruit cake is amazing.

Apparently it's a traditional Yorkshire pairing - I'm sure I read it in James Herriot and tried it from that.

You can now get cheese with spiced fruit IN it which is a whole new level of wonderful. And I have choc chip cheese in teh fridge Grin

CurrySpice · 25/06/2012 16:43

Yes Rhonda! Christmas cake and Wensleydale! Was introduced to it by an ex from Northallerton

LurkingAndLearningForNow · 25/06/2012 16:44

I hate chocolate and cheese.

I am a pariah in this thread!

he most disgusting food I love was the 'sauce sandwiches' I ate when 'm PMSing as a kid. I have a boring palette.

My mum has cheese, banana, Vegemite and jam sandwiches... Hmm

IneedAbetterNicknameIn2012 · 25/06/2012 16:47

We had cheese and crackers one evening recently. One of the cheeses actually had chocolate in!!! Yum!

Loving the sound of ice cream and peanuts!

dondon33 · 25/06/2012 17:15

So many levels of wrong here :)

says to self - Ice cream and peanuts sounds yummy, must try for research purposes.

sesameflower · 25/06/2012 17:17

y'all sound like you been smoking herbs. ahem.

OlaRapaceFru · 25/06/2012 18:16

Nope, no herb smoking here, just liking bizarre food combinations.

I've heard about spiced fruit cake and Wensleydale too, just never tried it. TBH, I loathe marzipan so I think I'd much rather eat Christmas cake with cheese.

(Glad my vanilla ice-cream and crushed, salted peanuts has some appeal - it was probably one of my Mum's more eccentric ideas Grin, thanks Mum!)

madhairday · 25/06/2012 18:17

nutella and cheese toasties

yum
