Sister's sex-talk

DublinMammy · 21/06/2012 19:13

I was talking to my younger sister today about some guy she had been seeing and has now decided she has gone off him. One of her reasons was that she "likes a good going at from behind and he had clearly never done it before". AIBU for wanting to turn back time so I don't have to have heard this??? It's not that I'm prudish, I just don't want to hear this from my sister....

Hahahaha

I suggest some brain bleach

LeoTheLateBloomer · 21/06/2012 19:15

I'd die if my sister said that to me Grin

MrsRhettButler · 21/06/2012 19:15

I thought sisters were close?

DublinMammy · 21/06/2012 19:15

Need brain bleach and instant memory-wiper....

Even worse when your DD becomes of an age and insists that 'You may be my mum but you are my best friend too' as reason for talking about things like this.

ImperialBlether · 21/06/2012 19:17

Yes, but if they're close can't they just say things like, "I didn't fancy him enough" or "He was boring in bed" or "I'd rather have a Creme Egg and a good book than go to bed with him"?

No need to say you want a good going at from behind!

cupcake78 · 21/06/2012 19:17

Good god! Im so with you on this one

DublinMammy · 21/06/2012 19:17

Ugh Rhett, not THAT close, surely?!? It's odd though, I have a v close friend with whom I wold discuss literally anything but my whole brain rebelled from hearing it from my sister. It didn't help that I was sitting in the car with my DS at the time (on phone, parked) and not expecting it...

My sister is terrible

She gives unwanted, graphic descriptions of her sex life and has even, on occassion, thrust mobile phone pictures of a penis at me, exhorting me to admire said member.

Awful

CoffeeNowImmediatelyNeedWant · 21/06/2012 19:20

YANBU. I once heard my sister at it. Nooooooo! scrubs ears

comedycentral · 21/06/2012 19:20

Oh dear! Not all sisters are this close. I am close to my sister but I would never say anything like that. What did you say?

DublinMammy · 21/06/2012 19:20

Jesus, catgirl that makes mine seems like Mother Teresa (sort of). Cock-shots? AWFUL...

DesperatelySeekingSedatives · 21/06/2012 19:22

Did your sister forget who she was talking to?!

I'm close to my sister but neither of us want to hear what the other likes in bed.

maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavour · 21/06/2012 19:22

You poor thing op, I feel your pain...

My dad used to do this with me about his and my step-mums sex life, including one memorable time when there was a picture involving ring donuts

In the end my DH begged him to stop in fears that I'd never be able to have sex again Grin

DublinMammy · 21/06/2012 19:23

I said "No, no, no, no, NO I DON"T want to hear this. Not from you. Not from my sister." She laughed and said "Just imagine I am someone else then". She does this quite frequently and I ALWAYS say "I don't want to hear this sort of thing from you, I just don't" but she does it anyway. The thing is, we had just been talking about a music festival she is going to and this guy is going to be there and so it was a totally normal conversation then she dropped the "from behind" bomb, out of the blue. Ugh ugh ugh.

Gunznroses · 21/06/2012 19:25

What's the age gap between you two and is she your "kid" sister ? Hmm

DublinMammy · 21/06/2012 19:25

Your DAD, maytheodds? Bloody hell. That is so much worse. Am speechless.

OP posts:
Gunznroses · 21/06/2012 19:25

If she then wash her mouth out with soap Grin

Oppsididitagain · 21/06/2012 19:27

i would never have this problem because you see my sister has never even kissed a boy or had sex neither have my mum or dad or indeed anybody i know Wink

DublinMammy · 21/06/2012 19:27

Gunz, only 2 years between us (I am 38, she 36). Perhaps I am boring middle-aged, married, have kid, dog, house etc but honestly I just can't stand hearing this, and I wouldn't want to hear about it from my elder brother or elder sister either!

AWomanCalledHorse · 21/06/2012 19:30

My brother is one of life's great oversharers...if he wasn't showing nude pictures of his girlfriends, he was texting me poo photos & asking me to guess what he'd eaten that day.
But we're one of those 'walk around the house naked' sort of families.

What I find weird is DH has never, ever, never discussed his sex life with his best mate!? I thought everyone spoke to their best mate about sex?

maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavour · 21/06/2012 19:33

I am weeping at the 'from behind bomb' Grin

FeakAndWeeble · 21/06/2012 19:36

When I found out my mum was having an affair I confronted her in a true, Hollyoaks style drama moment. She did not react like a Hollyoaks mum though (tears and guilt etc). No; she told me, in her best Hyacinth Bucket voice that 'Your father and I have not had sex in 6 years. I am a woman with a woman's needs and I must be fulfilled!'

Sounds relatively tame but

  1. I was 18, so the idea that anyone - my father or otherwise - would be shagging my mother was simply horrifying and
  2. 6 years? That means they were still 'doing it' when I was 12! EUGH!! (see point (1)).
PooPooInMyToes · 21/06/2012 19:36

Im mostly surprised that the bloke had never it before. Is he very young or just inexperienced?

And is that really the reason to dump someone. Its not like it will take long to learn how to do.

Put cock in, then out, then in, then out . . . repeat as necessary!

maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavour · 21/06/2012 19:39

Oh fuck I've just had a hideous flashback to the time my dad was showing me his holiday snaps and there was one of him naked with a sun hat covering his area. It must have been held up by magic, that is the only possible explanation
