I've just caught myself slathering my hair creme/gel stuff on my feet. Is this the beginning of the long slide into oblivion?

A couple of possible excuses for this slide into insanity are: 1) you're pregnant, 2) you're knackered or 3) you're rushed off your feet (pardon the pun) Grin

ObiWan · 15/06/2012 08:18

Do you have hairy toes? Easy mistake to make if so.. Grin

MissM · 15/06/2012 08:24

Definitely not preg, don't have hairy toes, but I have been up at 4.30 and 6.00 the past three days...

Well, styled toes are so on trend :o

cupcake78 · 15/06/2012 09:14

It's normal, I put the washing in my freezer the other day and found the milk in the washing machine!

Let us know if the results are good? You may have found some great foot remedy Grin

MissM · 15/06/2012 11:56

The hair creme is for curly hair. I will watch my toes with interest.

Oh dear. But if it's any consolation, I somehow ordered myself foot moisturiser rather than hand moisturiser on an online Tesco order, even though I'd never heard of there being such a thing.

JeffTracy · 15/06/2012 13:59

Davinaaddict · 15/06/2012 14:02

Sorry but this has made me Grin I do things like this all the time and blame baby brain even when no longer pregnant or suffering from early baby lack of sleepGrin

DeWe · 15/06/2012 14:03

Hobbits have hairy toes.

"May the hair on your toes never fall out."

MissM · 15/06/2012 16:32

I can't even blame baby brain! My feet do feel remarkably soft this afternoon though, so perhaps I'm on to something.

I would run with it - you are right you might be on to something.

I stayed in a hotel recently, and noticed in the evening that the skin on my arms an legs was looking a bit dry. I grabbed the complementary bottle of moisturiser and rubbed a generous quantity into my arms and legs.

The next morning, when I had my shower, I couldn't work out why I felt soapy and I was slightly bubbly before I had even used any shower gel- until I looked again at the complementary toiletries and realised that I had rubbed half a tube of hair conditioner into my skin the night before!

It worked though- and even helped with the patches of eczema that I have on my upper arms! Grin

thebetachimp · 15/06/2012 16:42

I accidentally used a Flash "surface wipe" on my face instead of a nivea one the other day.

It actually did quite a good job of getting rid of my make-up and smelt lovely... :)

LentillyFart · 15/06/2012 16:44

Clearly you are now slick with horn. This is getting to be a bit of a problem.

MissM · 15/06/2012 16:45

Thank you Thistle and Chimp, I feel a whole lot better knowing I'm not the only fuckwit around (no offence).

OP posts:
thebetachimp · 15/06/2012 17:18

I feel better too!

catinboots · 15/06/2012 17:22

I cleaned my teeth with Deep Heat once.

I don't recommend it.

MissM · 15/06/2012 19:39

Yuck. At least my hair creme smells nice!

JamieandTheOlympicTorch · 15/06/2012 19:40

Have you ever put a shoe in the fridge? If not, you are fine (I, OTOH, am not)

cheekybarsteward · 15/06/2012 19:42

Just don't wash your hair with immac :(

MissM · 15/06/2012 19:49

Grin at Jamie.

Youvebeentangoed · 15/06/2012 19:53

Oh dear cheeky Shock

I once bought some face wipes. Never thought to check. Just went home, got one out, and wiped all my face. Didn't realise they were self tan wipes. My face was streaky as hell. And my hands.

I have also put milk in the washing machine rather than fabric conditioner. Didn't even notice till I went in to the fridge for the milk and found the Lenor in there, and further found the milk next to the washing machine Hmm

thebetachimp · 15/06/2012 20:34

Twice recently I've forgotten that I was boiling eggs on the stove and only realised a few hours later when they've exploded.

And I usually forget at least one vital ingredient (usually baking powder) when baking cakes.

DH refuses to let me in the kitchen now, and does all the cooking.

[rubs hands in glee at success of cunning plan]

candr · 15/06/2012 20:37

2 nights in a row I have gargled with face cleanser rather than mouthwash - are both blue. Think it is sleep deprevation as up 4/5 times a night for last 9 months with baby.

MissM · 15/06/2012 20:49

Youvebeentangoed how did the wash smell afterwards?

Chimp you might be on to something too...
