I've just walked in from work, expecting my lovely roomba Bertha to have cleaned everywhere, to her usual high standards, and be sitting smuggly in her docking station.

Insted I've came in to find all my downstairs floors covered in dog shit! The Roomba has carefully spread it everywhere, including the bloody hall.

Fuck!

Actually AIBU to get rid of the dogs insted?

That is hideous, and it will be great fun trying to clean your Roomba as well. It must stink.

I would be another who would close the door and leave it for dh. The dog is his whenever it shits on the floor.

I have a Roomba (named Brian since you asked) he would NEVER do such things, I do worry that he judges me though when I make him do the bedroom floor and the kittens have got bits of guff everywhere, he has a judgey look about him, he is amazing though, best Hoover I've ever owned, Derek the Dyson sits surly in his cupboard only coming out for stairs these days.

Ooh it was so tempting to leave it for DH....

It was particularly artistic with the crop-circle style swirls where poor Bertha had tried in vain to clean a patch where her sensors had told her it was particularly diiirty.

Wooden floors so not too bad to clean...the rug by the door though I might just chuck, I've just spent the last 40 minute trying to clean the machine itself- a million tiny nooks & cranies all covered in shoite. A felt tip pen proved surprisingly effective in the screws.

First time in years the dogs have had an accident, but yesterday one of them got her snout in the dog food and ate 3 days worth of food!

I do love her though, with a toddler and two hairy dogs, shes a god send normally, as my four legged friends seem to molt twice as much as anyone elses dogs.

Loving the description as "artistic". Our roomba keeps giving up halfway and basically sighing and saying "Please can you just tidy up so I can do my job!"

Quite possibly one of the few real LOL moments I've ever had
