It's also a bit of social history.
I was born in 1956 and so not far in age and the old cine films brought back so many memories, my dad used to take them, I'd love to see them again.
They did seem like a happy family.

I have a sneaking fondness for all the pomp and ceremony of royal gubbins and really enjoyed that programme! DH huffed when I switched to it and said 'just ten minutes then'. We both watched it to the end and he enjoyed it just as much as me
