I can't waits Grin

DH is even more excited than me though. One of our first dates was a pub quiz which had a Eurovision section and he got all the answers right at which point I assumed we were not on a date and talking at cross purposes

I miss Terry though :( It's not the same without him

I have my flags, scorecards, drinking game and sweepstake kit ready for later. Some friends are coming over and we intend to get very drunk! Grin

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 26/05/2012 15:18

I am Grin also.

Just got to get the kids in bed on time for once!

catgirl1976 · 26/05/2012 15:20

Oh that sounds brilliant tits :)

I wonder what Azerbaijan will be like as a host - I bet the little video clips are amazing Grin

I'd be a lot more excited if our entry wasn't so shit Grin

But it holds fond memories for me cos I ended up watching the end of it on our wedding night in our honeymoon suite.

DH was spark out by then so I finished the champers in bed with Mr Wogan.

EarthInBeautyDressed · 26/05/2012 15:26

I can't wait!!

Pimms and champagne on ice here. Grin

Herrena · 26/05/2012 15:31

We have got in loads of European tasties for our Eurovision feast! DH and I will be enjoying the kitschiness of it all Grin

Did anyone see the Panorama episode about Azerbaijan, by the way? Scary stuff...

BarefootShirl · 26/05/2012 15:33

I'm not THAT excited but I'll probably watch it anyway spread out on the bed with a box of chocs and a bottle glass of wine because the alternative will be to sit downstairs and watch a "vital" meaningless friendly match between England and that world class team from Norway Hmm.

Emmielu · 26/05/2012 15:35

Im oddly excited too this year. Although i think ill record it instead cause i wont be able to stay up that late. Its all fun!!!

Longdistance · 26/05/2012 15:36

I'm watching it from Oz :)

Longdistance · 26/05/2012 15:38

Should be in Oz
Have always watched it, since I was a little girl, as my parents are Hungarian. Excited much???!!!

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 26/05/2012 15:39

I am still a bit bah about the hump so will be supporting Jedward. (They did get through right?)

WhispersOfWickedness · 26/05/2012 15:43

YANBU, I am ridiculously excited as well Grin I am allegedly the only person who is interested in this house, but DH keeps a very close eye on it Hmm
We take it in turns on weekends to have a lie in, so I baggsied tomorrow morning due to staying up late. When I informed DH of this (I.e. he can go to bed earlier, but I want to stay up to watch), his response was 'yes, that's fine, I'll be able to grab a nap in the day if I'm tired' which suggests to me that he will be glued to it too Grin

Hopandaskip · 26/05/2012 15:44

I miss eurovision.

SimplySoo · 26/05/2012 15:45

Yay, I love Eurovision too! I agree Terry was great, but enjoyed Graham Norton last year, reckon he'll do a good job!

geegee888 · 26/05/2012 16:14

I do love it! Quite like Graham Norton too, he's very funny.

BornToShopForcedToWork · 26/05/2012 16:23

YANBU. I am German so should support Germany but I hope Jedward wins. I haven't seen other contestants yet though.

helenthemadex · 26/05/2012 16:27

iklboo · 26/05/2012 16:33

Go Unclebert Humpaduck!

Dinosaurdrip · 26/05/2012 18:11

Another here who would much rather be watching casualty tonight!

stuffnnonsense · 26/05/2012 18:47

very excited

very nice year with birth of lovely DD, only realising the implications of limited opportunities for full on drunken silliness as in the last 15 few years

stuffnnonsense · 26/05/2012 18:48

and yes to jedward

sensuallettuce · 26/05/2012 18:48

YABU HATE the bloody thing. Is an insult to music and the voting is a waste of time.

alphabite · 26/05/2012 18:50

I love Eurovision but get pissed off by the stupid neighbourly and politcal voting!

BlueBirdsNest · 26/05/2012 18:52

I think Greece will win
