DH is even more excited than me though. One of our first dates was a pub quiz which had a Eurovision section and he got all the answers right at which point I assumed we were not on a date and talking at cross purposes

I miss Terry though :( It's not the same without him

I have my flags, scorecards, drinking game and sweepstake kit ready for later. Some friends are coming over and we intend to get very drunk!

But it holds fond memories for me cos I ended up watching the end of it on our wedding night in our honeymoon suite.

I'm not THAT excited but I'll probably watch it anyway spread out on the bed with a box of chocs and a bottle glass of wine because the alternative will be to sit downstairs and watch a "vital" meaningless friendly match between England and that world class team from Norway .

Im oddly excited too this year. Although i think ill record it instead cause i wont be able to stay up that late. Its all fun!!!

YANBU, I am ridiculously excited as well I am allegedly the only person who is interested in this house, but DH keeps a very close eye on it
We take it in turns on weekends to have a lie in, so I baggsied tomorrow morning due to staying up late. When I informed DH of this (I.e. he can go to bed earlier, but I want to stay up to watch), his response was 'yes, that's fine, I'll be able to grab a nap in the day if I'm tired' which suggests to me that he will be glued to it too

YANBU. I am German so should support Germany but I hope Jedward wins. I haven't seen other contestants yet though.

YABU HATE the bloody thing. Is an insult to music and the voting is a waste of time.
