I can't waits Grin

DH is even more excited than me though. One of our first dates was a pub quiz which had a Eurovision section and he got all the answers right at which point I assumed we were not on a date and talking at cross purposes

I miss Terry though :( It's not the same without him

Excellent.

DH is away so I get to watch it!

Looking forward to it. I have always loathed Jedward, but I think they stand a good chance of winning!

We mustn't win - we can't afford to host it!

catgirl1976 · 26/05/2012 19:19

I looooove Eurovision. Cannot wait for it to start. Wine

We should all vote Greece or Spain. They need something to smile about at the moment. (And we can laugh at the organisers when they say they can't host it never year).

Turkey were just fab for how ridiculously Eurovsion they were in the Semis. I was loving Scott Mill's game of "Gay or European?"

Time for drinking games I think....

Yoo hop! Why not come over to the telly addicts original thread? It's daft to be spread across two threads tonight!!

catgirl1976 · 26/05/2012 19:54

Hmm that's mean Grin

There are so many countries this year who must be torn between wanting to win, and desperately not wanting to win in case it tips them over the edge into outright destitution - Greece, Spain, Ireland, Turkey, the UK. I thought there were quite a few perfectly pitched 'respectable 5th place but no higher' offerings in the semis. Who knew Father Ted had a crystal ball?!

Sweden FTW.

LineRunner · 26/05/2012 20:02

It's not the same without Austria's Fokki Fokki Po Po or whatever they were singing in their fixed semi-final.
