Ha, that got you in,didn't it.

AIBU to start a thread to ask everyone who has ever been accused of being Mumsnet Royalty or one of the elite, or one of the populars, or insultingly been accused of being cliquey, quichey, prolific or all the many other insults, to sign in here.

I just want a list to refer to. Cos I reckon there are about a zillion of us, so I just want to prove that it isn't just a few of us who are up their own arses and think the site revolves around them

Whadayathink?

[Grin] at limping zebra

Maryz I think you might be right with the idea that people don't want to chat to get opinions that aren't the same as theirs

Even when they know what AIBU is like, some people still seem to think it won't be like that for them.

There was a thread yesterday about someone getting shouted at for their child not wearing a cycle helmet. She knew she was going to get flamed but then got upset when the flaming started.

Sometimes I read an OP and I know what's going to happen but sometimes I just can't look away.

OhChristFENTON · 24/05/2012 12:28

I once started a thread fuming about the optician suggesting that my son may be dyslexic and it wasn't really his place etc etc, only to be told 'durr that's part of his job you know to recognise such things ' Blush the truth was I really didn't know that, so it was an education of sorts.

I did feel rather silly in the end (and I'm pretty sure someone called me precious) but I escaped too much of a flaming by saying several times that I had learnt something new, and thank you so much Grin

Back to the OP, I have never been accused of being Royalty, - I have been told I am of an 'ilk' which was really unpleasant at the time. I have however been accused on being mi.tmo.o which was odd, I had namechanged and someone I 'know' on here saw past my new name and said "I know who you are Wink " which of course sent paranoia klaxons off and I had to defend myself, probably sounding more and more like her during my protestations Grin

I'm rambling aren't I?

Shut up Fenton..

BrianCoxhasSmellySox · 24/05/2012 12:44

Right, there's only one person round here who has never been called MN Royaltyand does not belong to a quiche (Dustbin? doesn't count) but who is actually better than every one and does think she owns the place.

Me.

So you lot can go and diddle.

Queen Brian of Everyfink

MardyBra · 24/05/2012 12:49

Maybe if the thread had invited MN regulars (rather than royalty) to sign up, more people would put their name on the list. I'm happy to be out and proud as a regular. Royal feels uncomfortable (too hot for ermine today).

Empusa · 24/05/2012 12:54

Trust you to diddle Pinot!

CafPowadactyl · 24/05/2012 12:54

I don't think I count as anything mentioned on this thread I'm working on it , but who cares.

PinotysaurusRex · 24/05/2012 13:04

:o Emps!

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 24/05/2012 13:08

Brian when did you go back to being Brian again? Why did I not notice? Why the fuck has the dog just bit my foot?

nickelbarapasaurus · 24/05/2012 13:55

pinot - are you changing name over and over?
i've just seen you on another thread as pinot and now you're here as pinotysaurus Confused

Pinot · 24/05/2012 13:56

I changed a few minutes ago nickel - that one was before I did it. I hope. Or else I'm going gaga on yo ass.

nickelbarapasaurus · 24/05/2012 13:57

oh.
:(

KatieScarlett2833 · 24/05/2012 14:38

Afternoon cunts!

Baggsie Katie1 because t'other Katie isn't here.

LadyBabsFlashesHerFanjo · 24/05/2012 14:43

I still think that when someone talks about Katie they mean me [loser emoticon].

I guess this is what happens after a lifetime of people getting my name wrong Sad

KatieScarlett2833 · 24/05/2012 14:46

Hi Katie!

Sorry for usurping your name Wink

LadyBabsFlashesHerFanjo · 24/05/2012 14:47

Hi Grin I get called it so much, I actually answer to it now and it takes me a minute to realise IT'S NOT MY NAME by which point it's too late to correct anyone Blush

That's fine, it's not my name Grin

TalcAndTurnips · 24/05/2012 15:21

BrianCoxHasSmellySox - I love Queen Brian!

I think we need more queens called Brian. And Malcolm - perhaps Ray or Reg too.

And Kings called Rene. Or Sylv, Pat or Glad.

This type of crown would be de rigueur - and here's the State Viva parked round the back.

Here is the Palace Banqueting Room - laid up and ready to receive illustrious foreign guests and dignitaries for a magnificent lunch. No detail has been missed; note the thoughtfully-placed bottle of salad cream - because Queen Rita of Luxembourg is known to be fond of it.
