I can?t actually believe what I have just seen I?m really stressed out. I am wondering what I can do with what I found I have no idea the time frame the country or anything, only it?s a horrific clip going around face book and twitter. I have decided to send it to a few email addressed from the guardian paper cannot find and email on the NSPCC or the BBC? have no idea if this will even do anything or if I?m fighting a lost cause. A needle in a hay stack situation. Any ideas on what a can do with this link I saw?? Im just so sad :(

was it the malaysian baby? if so the baby is in foster care now.

WellHello · 15/05/2012 22:33

Ive no idea what link this is...? Havent seen anything disturbing on facebook..(lately)

OurPlanetNeptune · 15/05/2012 22:34

Was it abuse? Was it the mother in Malaysia hitting her daughter. If it is the woman has been prosecuted and jailed and the child removed and is with foster parents.

WellHello · 15/05/2012 22:34

Oh God I dont think I want to know what this link was.

BonnieBumble · 15/05/2012 22:35

I think contacting the NSPCC is the right approach.

In what way is it doing the rounds on FB?

OurPlanetNeptune · 15/05/2012 22:35

No WellHello, don't watch it. I'm pretty tough but I watched 15 seconds of what is about a 4 minutes video and I cried, couldn't watch any more. I had to wake up my boys and cuddle them.

Snowboarder · 15/05/2012 22:35

I don't want to know either Sad

I never see anything disturbing on FB - you might need to cull some of your 'friend's' if they're regularly posting upsetting links. I would.

JL09 · 15/05/2012 22:36

Thanks guys Malaysa or Thailand im not sure... yes hitting a baby on a bed for crying.... do you have any links for further information please.

i only watched it as my 15 yo dd had watched it on fb from a friend's newsfeed and she was in tears, so after i had consoled her i had a look to see what she had seen.

it really upset me, couldn't get the images out of my head.

Heyyyho · 15/05/2012 22:40

Dear God Sad

WellHello · 15/05/2012 22:40

I couldnt help myself and googled this story and saw some pictures from the video on the DM website :( that is just heartwrenching. Im pleased to read that the baby is with another family and doing well.

thisisyesterday · 15/05/2012 22:42

daily mail, sorry warning: distressing link

I also heard somewhere that the baby was born after the mother was raped. which, while it clearly in no way excuses what she did in the slightest, may somehow explain part of it.
she is/was only 18, had been raped and made to bring up the child... it's hideous

thisisyesterday · 15/05/2012 22:42

sorry can i add the disclaimer that the mail article has several still shots, and a graphic description, so if you don't want to see/read about it please don't click on my link

JL09 · 15/05/2012 22:48

Thanks for that thissyesterday.... I would like to know if she regains custody! If you hear anything else please let me know. God bless those little children- keep them safe....

BumpingFuglies · 15/05/2012 23:18

I wish I hadn't watched this I can't stop crying

Why? Why?

DuelingFanjo · 15/05/2012 23:22

ffs, thanks.
not wha i want to read/see just before bed.
if any of my friends posted this on facebook i would seriously consider our friendship. jesus.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 15/05/2012 23:29

Oh why would you post that here, OP? Why? It's already been here once. It's just spreading the misery and doing no good whatsoever. It's already been dealt with. I wonder at the mentality behind posting gratuitous FB stories here, again. :(

BumpingFuglies · 15/05/2012 23:31

Christ OP let's get it off the net.

Thisisyesterday, please could you remove your link? Pls ask MNHQ to take it off?

Report, report, wherever you see it.

BumpingFuglies · 15/05/2012 23:32

Lying - I'm sure the OP didn't know that

Kaekae · 15/05/2012 23:35

I saw this on facebook too, I clicked on the link not really knowing what it was about, clicked straight off. So sad. Sad

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 15/05/2012 23:35

Bumping... whether she knew or not, why post it? It's horrific and posting it just causes upset. It makes me angry that people do this, they click on links and are so caught up in whatever it is that they have to share it with as many as possible.

BellaOfTheBalls · 15/05/2012 23:37

I managed less than 30 seconds. Now going to cuddle DS2 who is about the same age and is fast asleep next to me.

Poor little baby. Hopefully in a much happier, safer home now.
