I think it's fine. I took my 3.5 year old to it recently and there were some smaller children there who sat quietly.

I think it's a risky idea, neither of mine would have sat still for an hour and a half at that age. DS1 was terrified of the lights going down at the cinema or theatre until he was gone 4.

Lion King is exactly 90 minutes long, btw, and if it's a morning kids' showing no one can really feel put out.

FYI if you have a 1.5 year old that will sit for one hour and a half then well done op 3.5 years old is a very different age

I always wonder why people do this. It's an awful lot to expect of such a young toddler. Inevitably they will lose interest/the thread of the story then get bored, restless etc. Believe me there is plenty of time for all this later! Get the DVD and you can watch it in bits together at home where you can explain the story....and save yourself a great deal of stress and money Grin
