I have just been reading Saturday's Guardian newspaper which has an article about parenting, In it there is a box titled "How to be a better parent - Tips from the experts". Justine says the following:

" Put away your mobile, turn off your laptop and don't even think about a Blackberry or an iPhone."

can't see any mention of a mac there SockPuppet unless you're on a macbook which would come under laptop Grin

stealthsquiggle · 02/04/2012 17:57

"she just has to say get dressed to them"

did you edit out the bit that said "about 1000 times at ever increasing volume", Justine [stern]?

D0oinMeCleanin · 02/04/2012 17:58

Until they jump out of their skin and cry "Why are you shouting at me?" because they've not heard a single word Grin

StateofConfusion · 02/04/2012 18:00

My children would do far less if I didn't have my blackberry, for example, 5minutes in the park looking around gormlessly, dull, 2hrs browsing mumsnet whilst watching the dcs, bareable, ditto soft play.

Grin
Tee2072 · 02/04/2012 18:00

Our Justine said that? Are we sure it wasn't an imposter?
