Next month I am going to DPS sisters wedding.
She has invited my DSs (even though they are not "blood family")
She ask her best friend to be bridesmaid,
And she and her husband to be have said no gifts,
DPs cousin will be taking her baby and his other cousins children were invited.
AIBU to be pissed off there is nothing for me to moan about? Grin Grin Grin Grin...bad Rabid, naughty Rabid

End of April....
So to sum up....
No dress code
Well thought out food and drink
My children (non blood) invited
Beautiful invite
All children welcome
One bridesmaids best friend
Free accommodation
Beautiful setting
No gift needed out attendance is enough
Stag and hen dos problem free
I hate these people Hmm

I hate them too. How do they do it?

Can you be furious that the invitations are home made, so you can say she didn't even bother to buy proper invitations and therefore doesn't really actually want you there?

(Disclaimer - I do note these are beautiful invites, and I made my invites too!)

Or that, as she has invited your children, she has deprived you of the chance to have a nice weekend without them in tow?

Surely this wedding clashes with a birthday/anniversary/busy week at work?

And the kids do not even have to miss any school as we go on the Thursday night and the Friday is an inset day, I can find nothing to moan about

Maybe I should "leave the bastard" Grin then he could go to his sisters wedding alone
