Man, if she finds this thread she is going to be maaaaaaaaaaaad. So mad, she'll have to write BUTTLOADS of articles about it

lisaro · 23/02/2012 16:01

Oh MarthasHarbour that's truly cringeworthy. Oh, and she forgot the paper bags..............

NapaCab · 23/02/2012 16:02

It's puzzling to me how people could get to their 40s and have 4 children and still be so completely clueless and incompetent. They say they're paying 2k per month in rent but can't manage a 90k deposit on a house. They claim they 'need' a 5 bedroom house but would settle for a 4 bedroom (oh the indignity).

We saved up 40k for a deposit on our house by the time we were 30 (31 by the time we bought the house). We rented below our means and saved through our 20s to do so. We delayed starting a family as well.

These people have just merrily spent and had children without a thought for the future and they wonder how they ended up broke?

God help their kids is all I can say, having such irresponsible parents. Private schooling won't help if you're raised by morons.

Haziedoll · 23/02/2012 16:03

"I feel very sorry for the kids having all their details published in the newspaper"

She has no privacy settings on her fb account either, private family holiday snaps for the world to see. What is she thinking?

redwineformethanks · 23/02/2012 16:03

I feel sorry for the children having the details of their family life splashed all over the press. Parents sound very irresponsible. In 2002 the writing was on the wall that interest only mortgages were not the way to go. They overstretched themselves.

yellowraincoat · 23/02/2012 16:03

I would ban private schools personally. Why the hell should someone get a better education than me because their parents have more money?

Blah blah they worked hard to get where they are blah blah, just like David Cameron and his ilk, eh?

Thank you ChazsBA - I'm pushing back the waves of nausea!

AbsofCroissant · 23/02/2012 16:11

For the sex article, I got as far as "he strokes my back"

that's an image that will stay with me the rest of my life Sad

I'm so traumatised, I will have to write a DM article about it, and be photographed wearing kitten heels

Hullygully · 23/02/2012 16:12

The best bit is:

"He turns me tenderly onto my side and without warning, while I am breathless with anticipation, shoves his huge hard cock into my trembling inner moistness."

Imagine.

PostBellumBugsy · 23/02/2012 16:16

HULLY - Bugsy runs away screaming!

wasabipeanut · 23/02/2012 16:17

My cup of sympathy is not running over here, although I think the OP's emphasis on school fees is misplaced. They just sound like they were shit with money and overspent - treating their house like a cashpoint which they ditched when it could no longer fulfill that function.

They can afford to buy a house, they just have to make compromises which they clearly aren't prepared to do.

But hey, if a national newspaper paid me to knock out "poor me" articles about how my middle class entitlement to a beautiful period home and privately educated children I'd be there.

AbsofCroissant · 23/02/2012 16:19

It says on the side only 10% of homeowners are under 35. I am surprised by it being that low

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 23/02/2012 16:25

What a silly cow. Boo hoo for you, you didn't get to bury your dog in the garden you no longer own due to your own dim decisions and financial management. How much sympathy would this vile woman have for a family in debt for a less self-consciously middle-class reason?

No sympathy at all. Oh and teach your kids NOT to draw on the walls, like the rest of us do.

KalSkirata · 23/02/2012 16:26

Hully!

Agincourt · 23/02/2012 16:26

MarthasHarbour · 23/02/2012 16:27
