I just learn so much on MN Grin

Hullygully · 23/02/2012 15:25

I bet you look lovely

One of my fave friends said to me the other day that she likes shopping on her own because if she likes something she doesn't want someone telling her it doesn't suit her, she just wants to wear it! How cool is that?

PostBellumBugsy · 23/02/2012 15:25

Oh Hully, I love you. I was thinking the exact same thing! About the purple tights of course. heaven forbid the troubling eye thing should be mentioned.

malinois · 23/02/2012 15:25

The dreadful, gang-ridden, hellhole of a comp that she would rather gas her children than send them to is Bohunt

I can see why she wouldn't want to send her children there, after all they only offer 7 MFLs (why only Mandarin and no Cantonese??) And only six tennis courts! And the geography field trip was to Greenland? Disgusting! Why not the Moon?

And worst of all it's a feeder for the diabolical Peter Symonds College, which only sent a pitiful 55 sixth formers to Oxbridge last year Shock

AbsofCroissant · 23/02/2012 15:29

Maybe it's cos Bohunt does Movember?

Hullygully · 23/02/2012 15:31

wot are you wearing them with, Jericho? I'm sure they are delightful

SecretSquirrels · 23/02/2012 15:31

She could buy a house like that and have change for the school fees if she moved up North.

Agincourt · 23/02/2012 15:32

Moved up North, what to like Islington?

AbsofCroissant · 23/02/2012 15:34

I like the purple tights, in fact, I think they're rather fabulous.

Just not on her

Hullygully · 23/02/2012 15:36

yy Abs, and not teamed with the rest of her outfit and her troubling eyes

KalSkirata · 23/02/2012 15:37

well that cheered up my day Grin
I'm laughing at 'needs a live in housekeeper' because she has 4 kids. I have 4 kids and somehow I manage
The woman is an idiot with a sense of entitlement I can feel from here. 'Soul destroying' is not being able to feed your kids or put the heating on. Not a 2K luxurious rental with kids still at private school.

porcamiseria · 23/02/2012 15:39

They are such an easy target. too easy

TRY HARDER OP!!!!! its just too easy

TalkinPeace2 · 23/02/2012 15:41

I'd not noticed that Bohunt fed into Peter Symonds
she is DEFINITELY mad to be getting into debt to miss out on those two
my DCs school feeds into PSC.

PS the DM photo of the EA board is a Liss phone number ....

AbsofCroissant · 23/02/2012 15:42

And her troubling face.
And body
And life
And personality
And career.

She's just troubling.

And to think, all of this heartache and pain, selling losing the house, having to rent could have been avoided if she'd just started baking cupcakes on an industrial scale like that other lady did.

It's tragic.

mumblechum1 · 23/02/2012 15:42

and chin

JerichoStarQuilt · 23/02/2012 15:43

It's ok, I'm wearing mine with a shapeless cardie and a knit dress because I've been outside getting mucky (planting bulbs not burying labradors, you'll be pleased to know). I'm resigning myself to the fact my style icon writes for the Mail.

I can happily mock the weird pattern on the first dress, though.

hackmum · 23/02/2012 15:44

"If a photographer comes round to snap a few shots to go with the article, is it part of the contract that you need a completely different outfit for each photo?"

Apparently, the Daily Mail has its own wardrobe that it brings along for the journalists to wear in photo shoots. They like their women writers to all look the same.

MarthasHarbour · 23/02/2012 15:49

I have far too much to say about all of those articles!!

But i agree, why did they sell if they intended to live there to their old age? It shouldnt matter what the value is as long as they could pay the mortgage.

Where is the article about him turning up with a lime i need to know

Also - their monthly outgoings to the larverly housekeeper is the equivalent of our mortgage (North West granted but still)

When i say North West i dont mean St Johns Wood Wink

KalSkirata · 23/02/2012 15:53

yeah, the mortgage was 3K a month. They now pay 2K. They could have saved the 800 quid on the live in housekeepr, ditched the gardener and kept the house.

MarthasHarbour · 23/02/2012 15:54

uurrgghh

I couldnt actually read this....

mylittleponypinkypie · 23/02/2012 15:54

Oh dear lord! She had to work weekends! Does this poor woman have no breaks in life? She had to sell jewellery too! Does she have a website where I can donate money to her? I would love to try to help ensure her little princesses get the education they deserve!

scrappydappydoo · 23/02/2012 15:56

Talkinpeace - in Liss no-one an hear you scream Grin

Will be interesting to see where her youngest daughter goes...

PostBellumBugsy · 23/02/2012 15:57

MarthasHarbour - how could you? The mental images are bad!!!!!!
Is there nothing this woman wouldn't write about?

MarthasHarbour · 23/02/2012 15:59

PBB i am sorry - but to be fair i didnt read the article

i just couldnt........

sorry everyone Wink
