I'm not sure how she thinks she can disguise the fact that they're struggling financially (as she says she does at school events) when she writes about it for the Daily Fail, which is quite likely the "newspaper" of choice for the other parents!
Not in a PRIVATE school dahling!
Nobody in the indepependent school where I work would ever soil their hands with a common tabloid! If you don't read the telegraph or the guardian you are NOBODY!
(despite the sarcastic mockery I do actually agree with the parents and am a parent there as well as a teacher, I'm not just being a bitch!)
I would have sympathy with the family if we were friends and just talking about it (everyone has problems, they don't need to be comparatively awful for me to feel for them) but I don't have sympathy with the way they are posting their story (which really isn't that bad!) all over the internet. What's wrong with renting anyway? I doubt I'll ever buy, I don't see the point.
Think it's important to remember that she's a paid writer though - it could be mostly a work of fiction.
