Eammon has asked a sex addict why she doesn't make a buisness out of it as her addiction gets inthe way of her keeping a job.

Is it a case of 'what everyone was thinking' or just a very rude question?

He is bonkers conkers

keepingupwiththejoneses · 01/02/2012 18:22

Can't see the link, but I am guessing he had made a stupid comment at a guest on this morning again. Yes he is bonkers!

There , hopefully it works

Might be better if she managed to cure her sex addiction - it can't be nice going through life like that. Prostitution isn't the nicest or safest career choice and being addicted to sex doesn't necessarily mean she isn't choosy.

It probably is the question that a lot of people were thinking though. Bit tactless to say it out loud.

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 18:28

Where's Pip Schofield this week? The guests on This Morning are quite bizarre. We had the lady that reads bums, and the woman with two vaginas.

Eamonn Holmes is just embarassing and comes across as quite thick.

kelly2000 · 01/02/2012 18:32

isn't he the one who was interviewing a rape victim and spent most of the time blaming her as she dared to walk alone unchaperoned for a whole two streets. As if she had been walking with a man he would have been able to stop the attack, and as if most rapists do not rape women they know in "safe" environments. he just makes himself look lke a dirty old man when he makes remarks like this in my opinion.

lazarusb · 01/02/2012 18:33

He is a twat though isn't he? Suggesting she should take up something dangerous and illegal for the sake of money. Hmm He has some very odd opinions generally though...

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 18:40

He is like an old bloke who just says what he thinks then is all Shock when people complain.
Don't know what Ruth sees in him, she seems ok just a bit annoying.

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 18:42

Didn't he call an interviewee a retard last year as well? Hmm

rednellie · 01/02/2012 18:42

That's like saying to an alcoholic - why don't you become a wine taster? What a ridiculous man.

salmonskinroll · 01/02/2012 18:42

He is a no.1 twat

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 18:45

Why is he on the TV at all? Confused

MrsWuh · 01/02/2012 18:47

She's doing the dangerous bit already by sleeping around with endless men she doesn't know. Since she apparently claimed she can't hold down a job due to her extreme sexual urges, getting paid for what she's doing anyway is surely the next obvious step!

Still can't stand Eamonn Holmes, mind you, but I can see where the thought was coming from...

WhiteTrash · 01/02/2012 18:47

Hes such a twat. He always makes me cringe with his judgemental questions and assumptions.

lovesadirtylie · 01/02/2012 18:55

lazarusbprostitution is not illegal, and lots of people do dangerous jobs

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 18:57

Is prostitution legal loves?

Archemedes · 01/02/2012 19:13

Tbh she is basically being one already, minus the money
putting herself in dangerous situations with strangers for sex.

I can't decide whether I'm really shocked or I just thought it was funny, he does have a speak first think later tendency.

In spite of it being Eamonn and in spite of myself I thought it was a rather apt question. Which doesn't mean he's not still a twat.
Prostitution is not illegal in this country although iirc soliciting is, and "living off immoral earnings" (ie being a pimp or madam and taking the money for someone else doing the "dirty work" is)

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 19:16

Really Pom? I didn't know that-I just thought it was all illegal.

FutureNannyOgg · 01/02/2012 19:18

Charging for sex is illegal. Charging for a massage, or a dinner date, where you happen to have sex after "for free" isn't. Mostly the police are more interested in the pimps and kerbcrawlers though.

wherearemysocks · 01/02/2012 19:19

Got to admit I kinda saw where he was coming from, I did giggle when I read the story. She says she was too busy having sex to hold down a job.

lovesadirtylie · 01/02/2012 19:20

it is perfectly legal to provide sexual services in exchange for money

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 19:21

Wow. I really didn't know loves.

hohohoshedittant · 01/02/2012 19:25

I think pom is right and it is the solicitation and living off immoral earnings that is illegal. Charging for sex in itself isn't illegal.
