Hmm
LaurieFairyCake · 03/01/2012 11:03

yes

why did you change your mind about Christmas day?

Make an arrangement, stick to it.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 03/01/2012 11:03

well done - have a gold star Hmm

TheScaryJessie · 03/01/2012 11:04

Yes. Go to mediation, get a fair schedule drawn up, and stick to it.

If you can't do that, your ex should probably take you to court.

Because you are female, it's fine.

Is that what you wanted to hear?

TheScaryJessie · 03/01/2012 11:06

It might be someone from PH a young poster, you mean?

PeanutButterCupCake · 03/01/2012 11:07

YABVU you changed the arrangement!

Extremely unreasonable Hmm

Up until a couple of years ago my ex and I both had our DC on christmas day. I'd have them on the morning and he would pick them up at dinner time and drop them back at teatime, apart from one year when he kept them overnight until boxing day teatime.

You're punishing your son if you don't let him see his dad.

Is this one of those reverse ones by any chance Hmm

ViviPru · 03/01/2012 11:10

That reminds me, I'd love to hear an update from that poster who was refusing to be flexible over Christmas with her Ex, first posting a reverse AIBU then by orchestrating the most epic Christmas about turn of JOY in her second thread. I hope it all worked out for her....

cakeismysaviour · 03/01/2012 11:14

Sounds like you an your ex need a mediator to help you sort things out.

This one sounds suitable - www.itv.com/lifestyle/jeremykyle/beaguest/

Jimmy Hill

Or

Is this a reverse AIBU? If it is stop playing about and tell us what the story is.

Thank you.

Sorry I meant to put a little Smile in there to make it look more welcoming

Smile < see

CogitoErgoSometimes · 03/01/2012 12:00

Is this another one of those dumb-ass back-to-front AIBUs where the OP turns out to be the aggrieved dad trying to get sympathy .....?

mayorquimby · 03/01/2012 12:26

reverse

abc456 · 03/01/2012 19:39

we've been to mediation, been going for the last 5 months i just changed my mind as i wanted to see my son for longer & my ex wanted to stay up his parents house with him, i don't trust him now in case he keeps him again

OP posts:
Splinters · 03/01/2012 19:42

You don't trust him, doesn't sound like he has much grounds for trusting you.

All this would be fine if there wasn't a child stuck in the middle of you both. You make him sound like a toy to be lent out.

So you decided to keep your DS on christmas day and evening when you and your XP had previously agreed that DS would spend xmas day and evening with XP, then XP decided to keep your DS on boxing day in a tit for tat game between the two of you?

How long did DS stay at his fathers for? From boxing day morning until when?
