you can buy small IKEA goods e.g. the ones from the market hall area, on Amazon therefore no longer needing to visit the giant blue pit of doom itself!

AutumnWitch · 14/12/2011 19:50

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I love IKEA, but it's an hour's drive down the motorway for us.

You've just made my day London :)

Pandemoniaa · 14/12/2011 19:52

Oh joy. I may never, ever, have to set foot in Croydon again!

londonone · 14/12/2011 19:53

Croydon IKEA is my nemesis as well. Though I do like the hotdogs!

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDoom · 14/12/2011 19:54

Oh my! Xmas Grin all my Christmases came at once! Xmas Grin

londonone · 14/12/2011 19:54

lol-yellow

So glad I am not the only one who didn't know this. Was expecting a thread full of people saying "of course, I thought everyone knew that!"

KittyFane · 14/12/2011 19:55

Wow! Can you?! I hate going to ikea but love the kitchen stuff!

OldLadyKnowsSantaClaus · 14/12/2011 19:57

Oh no! It'll cost me a fortune!

AdditionMultiplication · 14/12/2011 19:57

That is very exciting!! Yanbu!

londonone · 14/12/2011 19:57

It's not everything (worried now that people will come back angry that not all products are on Amazon) but it's definitely some things. They are not all on with IKEA names i.e hibba, listad or thor! I just searched IKEA

I'd need to check, but the prices seem high compared to my memory.

Byeckersitsapropercrimbolike · 14/12/2011 20:01

Oh my god! Londonone, i bow to your awesome wisdom Xmas Grin

KittyFane · 14/12/2011 20:01

Just looked! Is there a mark up though? before I start comparing prices

KittyFane · 14/12/2011 20:01

Xpost :o

londonone · 14/12/2011 20:03

Autumnwitch - Is any price too high to avoid being sucked into the great blue vortex?

OP posts:
londonone · 14/12/2011 20:05

I suspect there is a mark up, oh well might help some people out.

MissMerrynder · 14/12/2011 20:10

Oh. My.

AutumnWitch · 14/12/2011 20:12

Given how excited I just got, I could have seriously overspent on Amazon.

And I do rather like the swedish food market - soft salt liquorice nomnomnom

AutumnWitch · 14/12/2011 20:13

Still - if it's just one or two things - flexes credit card....

londonone · 14/12/2011 20:13

meatball gravy. MEATBALL GRAVY.

HeidiKat · 14/12/2011 20:15

I'm going to go against the grain and say I actually enjoy going to IKEA and wandering round the market hall, but I am a SAHM so can get to go through the week when it's quiet. On weekends and bank holidays it's like the seventh circle of hell. I'm just waiting for DD to be old enough to go in the creche so I can get a cuppa and a cake in peace too.
