Because if she has been I would like to know why.

@higgle
I think that was certainly true Higgle - we had a similar situation in relationships where people were getting jumped on and we intervened similarly.

No intention of deleting her posts soupforthesoul.

@CalatalieSisters
Now that - aggressive orthodoxy - is the phrase I've been searching for all night!

@LineRunnerSaturnaliaCometh
I agree with catsrus, and I would urge you to consider that there is some real abuse on some of the feminism and relationships threads from misogynist posters which deliberately seek to hurt women, going well beyond reasonably 'contrary opinion.'
There is a huge difference between freedom of expression and deliberate, intended hurt.
That's what I think.
And I think MNHQ needs to address this much more seriously than it has been.
We have banned quite a few people and we really do take it seriously. But I stand by my post all the same.

@SacreLao
The fact that there is inconsistency, contradictions, blatent lies and what I would call deliberately winding people up.
All these reasons have been posted in this thread however so you really don't need to ask why people want you investigated and to do so I suspect is just going to cause more debates.
This thread is not about slating you but asking that DBF is allowed to return so this is pointless.
Although I find it very interesting that you did not see any personal attacks from her, some of the worst stuff she said to you was before you hid the thread as you were still posting.
I take that to mean that she did not deserve the ban for this thread.
Laydees you need to stop attacking this poster and report specific egs of the lies, inconsistencies that you speak of because we have yet to find any clear ones so there is a chance you might be wrong! And if you are right - show us and we will act.

@GrimmaTheNome
it needs more mild mavericks to balance the aggressive orthodox. (but only to balance them, not replace!!)
Board ambassador wanted. Only mild mavericks need apply .

@AnyFucker
justine it was just a thought, but strange that the last thread was deleted which covered much of the same ground and didn't have weirdo's barging in to give grief to posters who have had fuck-all to do with any of this
Did it? Wasn't on it, so can't comment. But think the team were probably following the not commenting on procedure protocol but clearly we're way beyond that here. (It's not that we try to be inconsistent you know )

@notjustme
apply to [email protected], there's no salary but it's an awful lot of responsibility.
JustineMumsnet · 07/11/2011 23:58
you're ideal for watching out for excessive orthodoxy in the wee small hours then.
aggressive not excessive. Tut.
JustineMumsnet · 08/11/2011 00:00
So if the DogHouse and FWR sections are being compared wrt to their "dogma" inviting unhelpful input along, have you got any individual posters in Fem/Relationships lined up to be the "fall guy" then, someone to be made an example of like DBF appears to have been ?
ERM nope. Don't accept the premise of your question, neither. You seem cross AF?
JustineMumsnet · 08/11/2011 00:01
@toboldlygo
Been a few instances of 'so-and-so posted a question in the doghouse and got a roasting' - well, it's exactly the well-meaning but ignorant who go out and buy a cute fluffy cockapoo that come undone when they can't cope with it and who are funding the puppy farms and BYBs. Once you've repeated yourself a hundred times on the subject it can be like banging your head against a brick wall. Then the roastings begin.
Still not acceptable IMHO - that poster has only made one "mistake" not hundreds.

@MrsDistinctlyMintyMonetarism
You could have a hat, certainly, or maybe an ebay scarf would be more in keeping...
Why?

If that's not too personal a question...
