manicbmc · 03/11/2011 00:10

My cat is mental and lovely.

Cathycomehome · 03/11/2011 00:11

Cats are better than people. Grin I love my two - well, one and three quarters, cats. I don't like next door neighbour's dog. So there, I must be right. Grin

TheRealTillyMinto · 03/11/2011 00:12

Dogs clearly are better than cats.
but a cat band is good....
& that songify app to convert speech to music is better .....maybe.... even than dogs

worraliberty · 03/11/2011 00:12

I've just asked my dog and he agrees with you OP

TopazMortmain · 03/11/2011 00:12

Cats are fluffy and purr. Dogs smell like old rugs Grin

Tortington · 03/11/2011 00:13

My cat is fluffy and maims. I should have called her Dobby.... she doesn't mean to kill, just maim or seriously injure. Hmm Grin

Tortington · 03/11/2011 00:15

phycho cats - exactly!

manicbmc · 03/11/2011 00:17

But I can see why she is so angry. Found locked in a boarded up house with her dead kittens and septic ovaries. Plus someone had hit her in the face. Sad

Dogs are daft.

Cats are enigmatic.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 03/11/2011 00:18

Hmm. My jury's is out on the dogs v cats argument.

Grin
ChaosTrulyReigns · 03/11/2011 00:18

Kayano · 03/11/2011 00:19

Cats don't drool

DogsBestFriend · 03/11/2011 00:19

manic, the poor darling. Thank god she found you.

My dogs say they are better than cats.

My cats disagree.

I just pay the bills and pick up the poop, what do I know?

worraliberty · 03/11/2011 00:21

As much as I'm a dog lover...Ninja cat rules and always will Grin

redpanda13 · 03/11/2011 00:21

My dog having lived her entire 11 years with cats is very catty in behaviour. My mother callls her 'Elf'.New cat is a Siamese and incredibly doggy in behaviour. We do not do stereotypes in this house.

TheRealTillyMinto · 03/11/2011 00:25

DogsBest you know your place, picking up their poo. [grim]

TheRealTillyMinto · 03/11/2011 00:25

that was suppossed to say Grin but [grim] works too

DogsBestFriend · 03/11/2011 00:32

Very apt, Tilly. :o

BustersOfDoom · 03/11/2011 00:35

All our cats have been fabulous. All completely different personalities but all brill in their own unique ways.

Our 19 year old moggie drools when she is very happy. The more you stroke her, the louder she purrs and the more she drools. She's been the same since she was a kitten. Our 9 year old tortie mews at you until you follow her to the staircase to play a game with her which involves us stroking her through the bars while she 'attacks' us with her paws - no claws. She loves it and so do we.

Cats are bonkers. Love 'em!

MrsRhettButler · 03/11/2011 00:39

I can't really join in the discussion as I'm still sat here like Shock

Honeydragon · 03/11/2011 00:44

Dogs are better than cats and my dog is a better parent than me. She is quite the disciplinarian with dd.

SouthStar · 03/11/2011 01:14

My dog is a total nutter who can clear 6ft fences, open the neighbours back door and then the door to their fridge and eat the contents (thankfully it was a friend so they found the funny side)

If anyones partner ever says oh look you can teach dogs to open and shut doors, shall we do it??? ...... SAY NO!

She also has a very unhealthy ball obsession which has lead to 6 operations on her paws and a hole under her tongue!

QuietTiger · 03/11/2011 05:43

Dogs have owners, Cats have staff.

Ergo: cats are more intelligent than dogs, therefore are "better". Wink
