AIBU to end all AIBUs

Right, I spend too much time on here and it's always the same old stuff, so this is my definitive list. If you'll all just agree to agree with me, then we can just shut down AIBU.

BF/FF BF is a little better for your kid, but some can't manage it. Do what you like. And I won't judge you for it.
Parking Disabled more important than Parent and Toddler. It won't kill you to walk the length of the car park if you are able-bodied
Greggs/Fruitshoots/McDonalds Won't kill your kid if in moderation.
4 wheel drives Whatever
Children at weddings Close family and breast feeding babies should be there. Others should be according to B&G wishes.

Bridezillas Yes to all of them.

Christmas family arrangements Just alternate between different family members one year and the next.

The Mardy one has spoken. I can go and do some work now.
Gavel.

bluegnueboo · 14/10/2011 12:22

You forgot Tights on boys. Yes, it's fine, no, they won't catch "the gay"

Sidge · 14/10/2011 12:22

You forgot WOHM/SAHM.

Kayano · 14/10/2011 12:22

Can we add to Christmas family arranements:

And if you want to stay home, just do it! But be honest and no Lame excuses !

Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 12:22

Surely that will eliminate at least 50% of the threads aldi

ScarahStratton · 14/10/2011 12:23

YABU. If there were no AIBU I would have to go and do some housework.

Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 12:23

OK to add to the list.

WOHm/SAHM - Do what you like
tights on boys - do what you like

Do you sense a theme here?

GrumpyInRepose · 14/10/2011 12:24

wohm/sahm?

if you have a choice either way, you're lucky. If you are forced by circs into either one you have my sympthies. either way, your kids will be fine, one theyu have a roof over their heads, food in their bellies and plenty hugs.

Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 12:24

Under what circumstances is one allowed to use a disabled toilet, if not actually disabled? If at all?

TheScaryJessie · 14/10/2011 12:25

It's been done; you should have checked the archives!

Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 12:26

Baroness Ah you've flummoxed me there. But I have learnt from MN to never assume all disabilities are visible, so I wouldn't challenge anyone if that helps.

buggies on buses Wheelchairs ALWAYS take priority. Either fold buggy or get off.

ZacharyQuack · 14/10/2011 12:27

Swearing - some people love it, some people get the vapours. Meh.

Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 12:27

It obviously didn't work last time Jessie. So this has to be the definitive answer.

OP posts:
LadyEvilEyes · 14/10/2011 12:27

Yes, totally agree Mardy.
My reply in almost every AIBU situation though I don't post.
But I do enjoy the arguments so long may it run. [hsmile]

Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 12:28

Agree with buggies Sausage

Swearing absolutely fine except in thread titles (cunting Sainsburys excepted)

OP posts:
ZacharyQuack · 14/10/2011 12:29

In fact, if MNHQ can be persuaded to add a poll to AIBU threads, there should be three options:

a) You are being Reasonable
b) You are being Unreasonable
c) Meh

Trills · 14/10/2011 12:30

So there. :o

rips Do what you like. (I have hidden breastfeeding on account of being perimenopausal and unlikely to go there again).

OP posts:
Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 12:32

Not asking AIBU Fine as long as it is related to AIBU. Not fine if it should be in chat.

OP posts:
ElaineReese · 14/10/2011 12:33

It's not nice to exclude children from parties, if it's at all avoidable.
People who live near schools should expect traffic at school run time, but it's nicer not to park inconsiderately where possible.
