Right, I spend too much time on here and it's always the same old stuff, so this is my definitive list. If you'll all just agree to agree with me, then we can just shut down AIBU.

BF/FF BF is a little better for your kid, but some can't manage it. Do what you like. And I won't judge you for it.
Parking Disabled more important than Parent and Toddler. It won't kill you to walk the length of the car park if you are able-bodied
Greggs/Fruitshoots/McDonalds Won't kill your kid if in moderation.
4 wheel drives Whatever
Children at weddings Close family and breast feeding babies should be there. Others should be according to B&G wishes.

Bridezillas Yes to all of them.

Christmas family arrangements Just alternate between different family members one year and the next.

The Mardy one has spoken. I can go and do some work now.
Gavel.

People not locking their dogs away when they have visitor

suburbandream · 14/10/2011 14:40

ooh, and the visitors' shoes on/off in the house debate - final judgement please

ElaineReese · 14/10/2011 14:48

suburban - it's a bit weird and a bit rude, but ultimately they can ask if they want. Though most people would take their shoes off without being asked if wet/snowy/covered in shit.

cureall · 14/10/2011 14:53

are you meant to lock a pet away if you have a visitor Fifi?

OP should bring out a modern etiquette book based on MN moral social and ethical judgements. And possibly bring world peace while at it :)

ElaineReese · 14/10/2011 15:06

If you say your thread is 'more of a WWYD than AIBU', you are almost certainly, actually, BU.

Rhinestone · 14/10/2011 15:18

What about MILs?

If you have DDs then YANBU, she's a controlling bitch, buy a copy of 'Toxic In Laws' etc
If you have DSs then YABVVVU, that will be you one day being frozen out of your DGC's lives

CalmaLlamaDown · 14/10/2011 15:24

Driving to school drop off when you only live up the, road?

Alpha Females wearing makeup at school gates vs Slummy Mummy in pjs?

someone parking outside my house - i want to own the roas?

CalmaLlamaDown · 14/10/2011 15:25

Road not roas

OneNerveAndYouAreOnIt · 14/10/2011 15:51

leave the bastard

Fifis25StottieCakes · 14/10/2011 16:49

cureall - i would as i have a 4 stone staffie that thinks its paris hiltons lap dog. Not that im saying other people should. I seen a thread on here about it once.

gobbolinothewitchscatinboots · 14/10/2011 17:44

Mardy - you've opened a can of worms here. Please come back and look at what you've started.

Plus I also need final clarification on the toilet brush debate.

BeaHellZeBubOnSea · 14/10/2011 17:50

Has anybody mentioned smoking within a 3 mile radius of a child's playground?

CalmaLlamaDown · 14/10/2011 18:05

Helicopter parenting....

never heard of the term until i started lurking on AIBU

Mardymwahhaha · 14/10/2011 22:55

OK, people are still posting AIBUs, so just for clarification

OP posts:
caramelwaffle · 15/10/2011 09:46

No. No Mardy You cannot close down AIBU until you have a definitive list Grin

AntsMarching · 16/10/2011 08:02

If you closed down AIBU, what would I do in the evenings and early mornings ? I'd have to talk to DH [hshock]

NaughtyBusterAndTheBumFactory · 16/10/2011 11:08

What about people shitting in your toilet?

Salmotrutta · 16/10/2011 11:44

I'm seconding BeaHell - you have forgotten smoking - in ALL of the numerous permutations.
E.g - lollipop men, outside seating at cafes, in your own garden but the neighbours can smell the smoke .... etc. etc.

ItsTimeToBurnThisDiscoDown · 16/10/2011 12:33

Fifi, can you really buy Gregg's sausage rolls to do at home? I love their sausage rolls.

Fifis25StottieCakes · 16/10/2011 12:39

i read i last week apparently iceland are going to sell them

www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-news/evening-chronicle-news/2011/10/07/greggs-produce-frozen-sausage-rolls-to-cook-at-home-72703-29556795/

ItsTimeToBurnThisDiscoDown · 16/10/2011 13:40

Is it sad that that's made my Sunday?!

What's a stottie btw?

Fifis25StottieCakes · 16/10/2011 13:48

A stottie is what you southerners call a flat bread. You buy them in Greggs and bakers up North. A big massive round flat bun you cut up and make ham and peas pudding sarnies with Grin

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stottie_cake

Listen me, connoisseur of Greggs, cant beat a corned beef pastie though

Fifis25StottieCakes · 16/10/2011 13:50

and i am still only 9 stone after 3 kids and a greggs twice a week fo as long as i can remember.

saltyair · 16/10/2011 13:56

What IS the debate around toilet brushes please?
