TrillianAstra · 15/09/2011 14:10

Now are you really asking if you are being unreasonable, or is this a question that should be in Site Stuff? Wink

cantpooinpeace · 15/09/2011 14:14

Don't throw site stuff at me.

Been on here 4 yrs on and off and only learnt bout MN classics today and how to refresh a page!!!

ArmageddonOuttahere · 15/09/2011 14:17

I've only just worked out that space bar scrolls down a page and HOME button takes you back to the top Confused

TrillianAstra · 15/09/2011 14:31

End takes you to the bottom too :)

ShowOfHands · 15/09/2011 14:33

The space bar scrolls you down the page? Shock

My mind is officially blown.

ShowMeTheMonet · 15/09/2011 14:35

F5 refreshes
Ctrl F searches the page.

OtterBjitch · 15/09/2011 14:37

Yes, thank you.

And in the spirit of debate (because that is the primary function of aibu) YABU.

Each topic has a purpose.

Aibu isn't a forum in itself.

Posting a non-aibu in aibu is lazy and irritating.

Needing more traffic is fine for an urgent helth issue (although a gp might be better placed to help than mners) but not to ask what you think of shoes.

And if it doesn't matter, start a thread asking which haircut would look nice in conception. Dare ya. After all, it doesn't matter.

Posting threads in the wrong section makes advice and info harder to find.

ShowMeTheMonet · 15/09/2011 14:41

I didn't know the space bar thing!

cantpooinpeace · 15/09/2011 14:43

I guess I'm not as serious about mums net as others. I just come for a play :)

Would you keep your socks in the fridge? Your food in the bed? Your babies in the cellar? A place for everything and everything in it's place.

TalcAndTurnips · 15/09/2011 14:45

Fuck me - what a find! My screen's now going up and down like a whore's drawers.

Thank you to all for enlightening me and my fellow techno-luddites. You have brought a little ray of happiness into our hum-drum little lives...

I have never understood why people open threads they don't like the look of.

So of course YANBU, who cares anyway? If people aren't interested you won't get any replies.

And why do some people feel the need to act as the Who-Puts-What-Where monitors? Thread-wise I mean.

My Home button took me right out of MN, to Google Sad

Could be because Google is, in fact, my home page.

The space bar thing makes me happy though.

That is amazing. The space bar thing needs a thread of it's own just to let people know!

I am rubbish with PCs though. I only just discovered the 'Most Visited' button on my browser. DD (7) found it way before me Blush
