At lunch. My 9mo DS eating his shepherds pie, her DD eating her carrot stix things. He was trying to grab them off her (and her fruit shoot which I dont like.) I realise this is a MN cliche. Im not a troll. Friend said 'Can he have one of her carrot sticks? He wants one'
I said no because I dont really like crisps myself, they looked bright orange - they had stained her DD's fingers - and they were for 12 months +. And I doubt he 'wanted' one. He grabs for everything.
She said I was uptight, and she agrees with me on some things but that was too far as they were melty and he'd be fine. I wasnt too worried about choking, it was the orange stained fingers and the fact I dont like crisps that put me off!
Anyway, I know I wasnt really BU because I can feed him however I choose to, but am I really uptight?
