It must be the extra days' holiday I am taking to spend time with DDs over summer that is sending me addled but I am starting to think that aforesaid Mr Armstrong is actually very attractive Blush

YANBU. He is lovely.

LineRunner · 22/08/2011 19:31

Yes. Preferably running up and down hills with Jeremy Vine. Singing 'Ride on Time.' Grin

izzywhizzyletsgetbusy · 22/08/2011 19:40

His somewhat bland looks have grown on me plus he's the kind of personable guy you could happily introduce to the dps and they'd love him.

And he comes from Northumberland - I like that in a man.

KaFayOLay · 22/08/2011 19:44

I most certainly wouldn't kick him out of bed. He is lovely :)

Thistledew · 22/08/2011 19:52

I used to like him until I saw him on 'Who do you think you are?'

He turned out to be related to some minor aristocrat. Said aristocrat had lent his elder brother some money. Elder brother had then died, and although his title had passed to the younger brother (Armstrong's relative), his estate was passed to his two daughters.

For some reason Armstrong was upset by this, and seemed to be saying that the estate should have gone to the younger brother, not the daughters.

I haven't quite been able to look at him in the same light since.

SuePurblybilt · 22/08/2011 20:07

QUITE attractive? He is all that is lovely.

BupcakesandCunting · 22/08/2011 20:15

YANBU

I would give him several.

LineRunner · 22/08/2011 20:15

Is he related to THE Northumberland Armstrongs?

RockStockAndTwoOpenBottles · 22/08/2011 20:16

YAVDNBU.

I would too. And will fight Bups for him. Pulling hair and everything.

toniguy · 22/08/2011 20:18

Yanbu mm

FannyPriceless · 22/08/2011 20:19

No no no no. Eewww.

That is all.

FannyPriceless · 22/08/2011 20:20

I realise I am outnumbered though.

BupcakesandCunting · 22/08/2011 20:24

I'll just sit on yer and suffocate you, love. You've no chance. Wink

RockStockAndTwoOpenBottles · 22/08/2011 20:28

It's highly likely dear Bups that I would suffocate you. Perhaps we could come to some sort of timeshare like arrangement....!

SuePurblybilt · 22/08/2011 20:31

Oi. I'll take the pair of you. I've been single longer: it gives me the edge in a fight.

Yabu. He is SO smug. Bleurgh.

BupcakesandCunting · 22/08/2011 20:41

I love a smug, arrogant posh-boy.

Too much Jilly Cooper in me yout', like.

Riddo · 22/08/2011 20:43

YADNBU Grin

pamplemousserose · 22/08/2011 20:55

You can be posh and well shaggable without being smug. I present Exhibit A : Ben Fogle

LemonDifficult · 22/08/2011 20:58

His wife is a MNer I think...

YANBU He's pretty shaggable.

Ben Fogle, though? Gross, gross, smarmy gross.

BupcakesandCunting · 22/08/2011 20:58

Oh yeah Ben Fogle would get it from me. However, he is like an over-excited labrador puppy. Definitely would, though.
