David Essex! I mean I am 34 but he is so sexy as Eddie Moon. How come I have not noticed him before?

YABU

saxony · 09/08/2011 20:40

Ha.....no one in RL agrees with me either but I don't care!!

Cloudbase · 09/08/2011 21:14

I would say YABU except that I have had some damn strange crushes myself in my time (Patrick Duffy anyone?). The Heart wants what the Heart wants...Grin

saxony · 09/08/2011 21:32

Sometimes you just do not have any control over these things do we?!

Quite liking Mr Bloom off CBBC's... Blush

spookshowangel · 09/08/2011 21:37

i have always had very odd crushes.

Victoria1984 · 09/08/2011 21:37

Oh thank god, I have as well (just turned 27). My little sister thinks it hilarious that my mum had a room covered in his posters. My worse crush though is David Mitchell - god I love him. So no you are not BU.

Meglet · 09/08/2011 21:39

Zane Lowe.

Kissy Sell out (his 'guns'!!).

Reliving my youth and dance music I think Hmm.

EcoLady · 09/08/2011 21:40

I'm currently in lust with the cast of Horrible Histories ... especially when they are in their Viking get-up.

saxony · 09/08/2011 21:49

Ha, me too. My crushes always amuse my friends - John Malkovich being the longest and most hilarious for them! Ahhh ......

I got to agree Blush and I also quite fancy his son (Michael) in all his crazy foxiness. I have a history of weird crushes since girlhood. Some examples:

Age 10-18:
Nick Harvey (Lib Dem MP)
Ian McShane
Gary Davies (Radio 1 DJ)
Keanu Reeves (finally moving into the realm of normal)

18+ Robert Downey Jr. (not weird at all and still my number 1111111)
Ditto Benicio Del Torro, Andy Garia, Clooney

But really, there are some screamers there. All tall dark handsome types. Particularly odd since in real life I always went for blondes.

Anyway. Not weird!

Cloudbase · 09/08/2011 22:05

William Shatner (but Captain Kirk, not TJ Hooker!), Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Wright (but I was pregnant and very hormonal, really not myself at all) and Christopher Lee! But I redeem myself with Keanu Reeves and John Cusack...

itisnearlysummer · 10/08/2011 08:13

My new crush is Dr Tom (Being Erica).Whew.

Whew. First time I've admitted it!

RalphGnu · 10/08/2011 08:54

I've not been able to look at Daddy Pig in the same light after a very disturbing and explicit dream I had the other night...

JosieRosie · 10/08/2011 08:57

'The Heart wants what the Heart wants'

I love this Cloudbase Grin

And yes to Matthew Wright and John Malkovich Blush

mintymellons · 10/08/2011 09:03

Yes to David Mitchell! I love a witty man. Something vulnerable about him too.

NoJusticeJustUs · 10/08/2011 09:05

Alan Davies !

Even saying it out loud makes me cringe but I had a very dirty dream about him years and years ago, I still blush when I see him on TV.

(oh the shame)

Karbea · 10/08/2011 09:25

Nojustice I love Alan, every time he comes on the tv I remind my dh how much I love him, drives dh mad.

happystory · 10/08/2011 09:30

You are not wrong. I am (way) older than you and lurved him when I was 13. He has aged incredibly well. Have a look at him singing him 'Rock On' on Youtube.....swoon

HPonEverything · 10/08/2011 10:06

YANBU I can definitely see the attraction

But then I like Anthony Hopkins, Charles Dance, Frank Finlay and Christopher Plummer so I have form for crushing on the older (and even sometimes deceased) men.

carabos · 10/08/2011 10:08

Donald Sutherland.

HPonEverything · 10/08/2011 10:11

Donald Sutherland
Oooh yes, come to momma. Or, more accurately, come to granddaughter Blush

begonyabampot · 10/08/2011 10:16

When younger i went a bit mad for Mel Gibson (not usually given to teenage type crushes) - he was truly beautiful.

Then Michael Biehn did it for me in Terminator and Aliens in the late 80's.

Recently a few years ago i had a super crush on Daniel Craig - luckily subsided though he has a few films coming out which i hope won't tip me over the edge.

Strangest have to be Nigel Terry when i saw him as King Arthur in Excalibur and Imran Khan - even borrowed a book on cricket from the library.

professorsnape · 10/08/2011 10:30

I have a bit of a crush on David Cameron.

Is this ok?

Clarence15 · 10/08/2011 10:31

You've only just developed it?! David Essex is yummy - I've fancied him ever since he was in that tv series ages ago about a river or a barge or something. With his neck scarf and his little earring......swoon.
