David Essex! I mean I am 34 but he is so sexy as Eddie Moon. How come I have not noticed him before?

Call the men in white coats immediately, professor.

I have form for crushing on the older (and even sometimes deceased) men. I'd jump on Brando's bones in heartbeat but that's how long it would last as they'd turn to dust Everything Sad

izzywhizzyletsgetbusy · 11/08/2011 05:10

WTF. Gordon Brown Chumlee???!!!!

A fantasy too far even if the dour one is wearing a kilt.

CheerfulYank · 11/08/2011 06:06

I'm pretty fickle in my crushes. Wentworth Miller held on for pretty long, and so did Finn from Glee, but otherwise it depends on what I'm watching. I just saw Leap Year with Matthew Goode and even with that ridiculous accent I'd give him a good ravishing. :o

Also, if I ever try to conceive another child I'll have a very easy test to find out if I'm ovulating, and it is:

Does the thought of climbing Kevin Durand make my mouth water? If yes, proceed!

soymama · 11/08/2011 06:29

@ itisnearlysunmer I really fancy Dr Tom from Being Erica too!!!! (I think he is a tiny bit in love with Erica though)

Lol izzy

ChumleeIsMyHomeboy · 11/08/2011 10:13

I agree Izzy. In my defence it was a cheese induced dream. Nightmare. If he had been wearing a kilt he'd have to have been hiding a particularly well formed sausage underneath it to make it even close to acceptable!

itisnearlysummer · 11/08/2011 10:20

soyamama hands off, he's mine! Grin DH reckons I look "just like" Erica Hmm so I might be in with a chance...

My crushes are also determined by what I'm watching at the time. How fickle is that?!

Tbag from Prison Break (only season 1 though) - can't really explain it
Sayid from Lost - needs no explanation!
Garak from DS9 - again, can't really explain Blush

'I have a bit of a crush on David Cameron. Is this ok?'

No.

shelfy, yep, agree on Laurence LB. He can come up and see me some time too.
Other weird ones of mine:
Puck from Glee
Kurt from Glee Blush
Andy Murray Blush Blush

All my others are perfectly fine and sensible e.g. Paul Bettany, Aidan Turner, Benedict Cumberbatch, Gawain from Camelot, Andrew Collins from 6Music.

babycham42 · 11/08/2011 11:04

Fancied Charlie off Casualty for ages. Sadly I have now fallen out of love

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 11:11

'Charlie off Casualty'

Sorry ...

babycham42 · 11/08/2011 11:27

I know,I know Lady, but faced with a choice between him or Gordon Brown....

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 11:36

Indeed. Unfortunately these things aren't usually a matter of choice, are they? That's how I explain mine anyway!

Oh yes Aidan Turner....oh suits you sir!!!

There really is nothing we can do to resist these urges for these random men is there? To be honest I don't even want to try ha ha!

Sometimes mine can start from a dream and other times I can be watching Eastenders happily for weeks with David Essex in it and then BAM! Helllooooo.....WHO ARE YOU? The next thing I know I am googling him and downloading his songs. Ahem did I say that out loud?

I have recently developed the most powerful crush on Mads Mikkelsen - not unreasonable in itself but it's fierceness is a bit scary. i.e. attempting to learn Danish, thinking about how to convince husband and two children to move to Copenhagen.

I would kill for an erotic dream featuring Mads.

Makes me feel young again.

TalcAndTurnips · 11/08/2011 18:31

How's this for cross-generation sex appeal - my mother (77) and my DD (16) both have a crush on cricketer Alistair Cook.

Daughter has been glued to the Test Match all bloody day, funny old thing, eh? If he loses his wicket, I won't see her arse for dust.

babycham42 · 11/08/2011 19:27

AIBU to think there"s a reason so many mums like Deadly 60?

YorkshireCrockpot · 11/08/2011 19:32

Chris from Show Me Show Me.
