To Wonder Why Heather Mills has spoken out

This phone hacking scandal just goes on and on. Heather Mills who in the divorce hearing is recorded as hacking Paul McCartney's phone and leaking information to the media, has accused a Mirror Reporter of hacking her phone.

It is highly likely it happened as Piers Morgan wrote about hearing a tape of the conversation that was hacked.

She's hacked allegedly, been hacked allegedly so why is she talking out now?

She's a publicity whore, thats why.

I thought she wasn't allowed to talk about her divorce wasn't that one of the provisos?

I am just amazed it has taken her so long to grab some media attention, but then she has let everyone else do their bit, waited till it had gone quiet, and then got headlines all to herself... the woman is a fucking fruitloop and an attention seeker of the highest degree.

My first thoughts when I heard was "media tart" she doesn't deserve the attention!

Report
Helenagrace · 04/08/2011 10:08

Because she's been left out of the hacking controversy so far and her ego needs a stroke.

Because she's needy.

Because she hasn't been in the press much recently.

Oh and what squeakytoy said

Biding her time, I bet, letting the outrage die down a bit. Thing is, after hearing about the Dowler's hacking by the NOTW, who on earth cares about her?

ThePosieParker · 04/08/2011 10:12

I thought the same of her when I heard her this morning.....

She's putting herself in the firing line, that is needy. It's being reported in the press that she hacked Paul McCartney's phone and leaked information to the press.

If she bites the rogue reporter, the reporter she gave information to may well just bite her back.

Hang on, a criminal offence has been committed against her and she is complaining about it. That hardly makes her a media whore.

Report
EggyMcEggMcSandwich · 04/08/2011 10:16

She could have complained about it in private.

For attention.

The woman is vile and seems to validate herself by the amount of publicity she has.

Mitmoo · 04/08/2011 10:22

Imperial it is alleged she has also hacked into Paul McCartney's phone and she was hacked and knew who the reporter was 10 years ago. So why now, her timing is rather good if she wants maximum publicity now.

Whilst I agree she loves attention and I find it highly suspect that she did not speak out sooner when hacking was so newsworthy, it does sound like PM has talked about this so called conversation and may have been aware it was obtained unlawfully.

I suspect somebody has been digging to try to prove it was not just the NOTW that was hacking and that they have pushed HM to come out with the story.

I don't believe hacking was limited to the NOTW, it seems likely to me that several newpapers were using the same sources for news so would all have been possibly buying stories from PI sources who were using dodgy methods to obtain them.

The British Media are well known for their dubious practices!

Well piers Morgan hates her and has made that very clear, slagging her off in various papers - so it could be revenge.

Morgan is insinuating that Heather used to record her own voice mail messages and leak them to the press as she wanted sympathetic stories in the papers about her. Which I can believe to be honest, she does come across as more than a bit odd. There are plenty ofpeople in the past who've said she's a total fantasist.

Because the activities of The Mirror group have no yet been scrutinised to the degree that NI's have? And they damn well should be?

Because speaking out, other than when the issue is centre stage, would be grabby/needy/attention seeking?

Because what the journalists did, if even only a part of what was described on the News last night is true, is grubby and reprehensible?

Because a marriage split up is hell, and having a third party illegally making your personal business public knowledge multiplies that hell?

Remember - we only saw of this marriage breakdown what the papers printed. We now know where and how they got their material. I don't think their narrative on Heather's character is worth the paper it was printed on, and refuse therefore to characterise her in any terms.

The whole episode is shabby.

Sorry, don't know why I defended her! She seemed a real witch on tv.

Mind you, I wouldn't defend Piers Morgan, either. He seems a real slippery character.

Because she hasn't been in the papers for a while and isn't there talk of Sir P getting married again very soon?

YABU insinuating that Millis is in the wrong. The real significance of her speaking out is that is shows other newspapers besides the NOTW were hacking phones. Would have thought that was obvious.

Report
rustikate · 04/08/2011 11:49

yes but no one was doing it with the venom of murdochs men. And Morgan has worked for them. He will have to explain his published comments

Report
Mitmoo · 04/08/2011 11:53

Cogito I could accept that had it not been reported that she hacked Sir P's phone and leaked that to the press. Given she's hacked herself, then I don't see her taking the moral high ground here.

The fact that Morgan actually wrote into the newspaper of how he had listened to the tape that has been alleged to have been hacked just shows how rife hacking was. Everyone seemed to be ignoring the fact it was against the law.
