I've spent every spare minute since before Easter turning our builders' dump garden into a veg patch. Now the local bastard chav bunnies have eaten everything except the leaves off the potatoes.

I want them all to die horribly & slowly, in spite of DDs' protestations: AIBU?

PS. If anyone's local bunnies have got Mixy, please catch some, box them up & send them to Chepstow.

Put up some fencing.

Accept if you are near Chepstow you are probably near the Forest of Dean and that means lots of wildlife (even of the annoying variety).

Accept that they have not been planning this for months, drawing up maps and digging tunnels in order to piss you off.

Do they have plasma tv's in their warrens and get income support?

Riven Got my Yr 10 Business Studies class to look into this. Bunny proof fence has to go one foot underground and three foot over. Cost was about £1,000 to protect max £100 of veg. That's why bunnies must die.

Waiting for bunnicide advice, not sympathy / bunniphilia.

Fencing. Bury it at least a foot down. Or net your crops.

(PS is OK people, he's very elderly now and we developed a high wall: no extra bunnies were harmed once we realised)

Bury hula hoops half way down, along veg rows, stretch over netting or polythene and peg down. Instant netted crops or mini polytunnels.

ok urm... a skinned gutted bunny costs £3/4 quid, so thats what about 340 rabbits? so put out snares, kill them all, sell as dinner and use money to put up fence??

YABU to want all bunnies to die. Really it's only the ones who have eaten your veg that need to expire.
Whilst IABU too, I harbour similar feelings about the mole that is ruining my back garden, the slugs that have eaten my courgette plants and the clothes moths that meant I threw away my cashmere jumpers which were full of holes.

I love moles too........... gorgeous fur. But they do nip you if you catch one!!

YANBU! I hate the scratchy vicious little fuckers! Can't even stand to eat them! I've got nothing against shooting them, not so keen on Myxie or the new gas bombing thing they use on them now.
