Thanks to the Mumsnet Tower people who helped to put me right with
the techno stuff. (It wonderful when one understands it; and it works.)

Its a bit like have a baby, I suppose. The mum struggles in Labour and then it is all ok when a beautiful baby is born. Ditto terchnology for geezers like me. ( just for the record, the"Labour" mentioned here is non-political)

There is a massive degree of good will flowing through my veins at the moment.

A lot of big stories have been and gone since I was last here. I am inclined to let sleeping dogs lie. To recharge my batteries and go full steam ahead; a little later

Climb every mountain; stifle every fear/The mumsnet Tower ladies will put
you in the clear.

Oh. My.

Confused
GabbyLoggon · 11/06/2011 15:29

Kreecher I do regret missing a lot of big stories floating around in the political field. But you cannot live in the past. The only reality is the present.

Yup. Still Confused

Have you met Scousey Gabby?

Have a feeling you'd get on.

AgentZigzag · 11/06/2011 15:36

Awww we missed you too Gabz Smile

Get a box of bonios out for those sleeping dogs, that should energise them.

GabbyLoggon · 11/06/2011 15:38

People who know how the technology works dont really understand those who dont.

I still grow hair; but Master Rooney cant get the hang of it.

NMy part of the country is suffering drought conditions. But weve had some rain recently. Potatoes will be £2 a pound next year. (invest now.)

I don't know who you are Gabby, but with such wonderful insights like yours, am glad you're back.....Hmm

cybbo · 11/06/2011 15:51

Oh Gabby, I remember you. You're the one who always sounds drunk

Finallyspring · 11/06/2011 15:52

Definitely invest in potatoes, yes.

I feel a heady mix of nostalgia and confusion about this latest development

AgentZigzag · 11/06/2011 15:59

How does one invest in taties? Confused

They don't keep for that long and I don't think they're on the stock market - that'd be oxo (arf Grin)

Pumpernickel10 · 11/06/2011 16:01

I thought gabby/ scousy were the same people

EduStudent · 11/06/2011 16:03

Definitely have a look out for ScousyFogarty. I thought you and he were one and the same Wink

petisa · 11/06/2011 16:06

welcome back to mayhem. whatever you do don't start a thread on chavs, men all being "peedos" in the making or lazy benefit claiming resource sucking scum

Mamaz0n · 11/06/2011 16:09

good to see you back Gabby.
You are one of the very few people that make my posts seem intelligent and articulate

nickelbabe · 11/06/2011 16:10

oh, i thought ScousyFogarty was Gabby.

now i'm sad.
:(

(makes sense though, cos Scousy didn't post non-aibu things on AIBU, and he didn't sound like he wasspeaking in headlines, nor sound like he was drunk)

Finallyspring · 11/06/2011 16:13

But this doesn't mean that Gabby isn't Scousy !

EduStudent · 11/06/2011 16:15

I am hoping Scousy/Gabby turn out to be some kind of hybrid form.

A bit like those Power Rangers that you used to flip the head round on.

corlan · 11/06/2011 16:17

Thank the Lord you're back Gabby - it was going mental round here without you!

AgentZigzag · 11/06/2011 16:35

'You are one of the very few people that make my posts seem intelligent and articulate'

Finallyspring · 11/06/2011 16:42

It's a shame you weren't around last night Gabby. You would have added an extra je ne sais quoi to the proceedings

Will Scousy be back at all ?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 11/06/2011 17:49

Gaby, do you live in either Norfolk or Flanders? My parents live in Norfolk and they are on a hosepipe ban and I read today that we are experiencing drought conditions.
I honestly can't see how. We had a monsoon today.
I did know about the potatoe issue. It has been big news here because a component of the national dish has increased in price. It wasn't mussels that have gone through the roof.

SuePurblybilt · 11/06/2011 17:54

I am convinced that either Scousy or Gabby is my Dadposting on the sly. He says not but then, he would.
