Does anyone know if this shop is still in business? I went to buy a pram online from them and the website will let me send payment....however when I went to call the 'shop' to enquire about delivery the number is not recognised!!!

I had the same problem - only I actually ordered and paid for stuff that never arrived. Rang to find out. No joy. Emailed. No response.

Don't go anywhere near them. They're out of business as from last year and they still owe me £35 for some toys for a birthday present that never arrived. Disgusting that the website is still up.

Thank you all so much! I literally had the items in the basket.... a full bugaboo set coming to over £1000 and it didnt mention delivery dates so I tried to call. Phew, can't imagine explaining that one to DH!!!

portslade is a good 5 miles from brighton

reading the comments that people have left on the article I doubt you will get your £35 lucy some people are out thousands of £!

I vaguely recall something about them having been defrauded by an employee and out of business. If you are west of Brighton, try Over the Rainbow in Tarring, though not sure if they do bugaboos.

i know cantspel,but portslade comes under brighton & hove council so people call it brighton lol!

my friend is going to have a look when she pops out,she has a shop in portslade.

I am a little further along in west sussex but i have a number of friends who live in the southwich/portslade area who all have their facebook status saying they live in brighton. Seems to be a pretty common and a wee bit pretentious thing to do lol

Yep, I am very lucky only to be out of pocket by £35. Am a lot more careful who I order stuff from now. Reputable sites only, with secure payment servers, a working customer service number and only by credit card!

Sites don't just stay up by themselves, someone has to look after them, meaning that they are choosing to keep taking people's money. Disgusting!

i really like lancing as well and it is even better now that asda has taken over the old coop lol
But i need somewhere bigger so my parents can live with us hence the move to goring. Plus my boys both go to school in goring so it will save me a fortune in train fares.
