Does anyone know if this shop is still in business? I went to buy a pram online from them and the website will let me send payment....however when I went to call the 'shop' to enquire about delivery the number is not recognised!!!

Portslade is in Brighton and Hove, it's less than 2 miles to the Hove border.

my older db still lives in lancing,im in east brighton atm,hate it,but kids are settled in school and dh works for b&h council.

Portslade might be less than 2 miles from Hove and come under Brighton council but it is still portslade. It has its own town hall and everything lol.

ddubsgirl i think i might have met you on another forum. Did you used to post on fhg and do you like on the whitehalk?

Lily May the shop shut down a whille ago.... I think it was about 8 months ago as my childminder bought lots of the shop fittings (shelves etc) at the auction to get rid of stock. I dont know about the website but the shop ceased trading nearly a year ago, so your frined wont find it is she goes looking. Did you pay via cc as you can claim it back if you did.... I think people think Portslade is in Brighton as it is covering by Brighton and Hove council

I loved living in Portslade. I miss it a bit. Sompting now, love the fields but miss Aldi!

I never go to Aldi as i find the lidl in worthing much nicer. I love their salami and all the random stuff they have in the baskets down the middle of the shop.

I have called consumer direct and they will deal with the local trading standards. Just hoping no one is caught out as website looks so profesional!

i had a few i/ds on fhg (dammed button pushers) but most had the name hilda in their somewhere and no my real name aint hilda although for years some though it was.
