I am off to Leeds Castle in Kent. DH is working there as Henry VIIIth and so we get to meet the Knights doing the jousting and to make a fuss of the horses.

My poor, deprived children had to make a large puddle in the yard yesterday, to splash in as we have no paddling pool , so I have promsied to go paddling pool shopping tomorrow morning and then we're going to a BBQ on the evening, as such I can guarentee there will be no sun tommorrow

Fab toddler trip to safari park today. In back garden with dh and 3 kids in paddling pool now. Going to lovely girl friends house shortly. Tomorrow I'm going with other girl friends to the theatre (preceded by food and shops). And on Sunday my lovely dd2 is 3 so we'll be celebrating with friends. A great weekend.

Tomorrow evening I will be providing backstage security for a troupe of burlesque dancers. The rest will be spent sleeping and sewing!

As for me, hoping to do the parkrun tomorrow and possibly a longer run on Sunday. Do some work (am a home-based tutor), help DS1 with maths revision. Possibly help my DM with her garden on Sunday. Feel worn out thinking about it....
