I don't have a telly in my room, I don't have anything round me to look at apart from my work desk, so it's not exactly fun.
Plus toast crumbs in the bed, and not havign anywhere to put your coffee. I mean, you can't eat cereal, drink coffee and read papers/a book without something going over a pillow, or you. And not ina good way.
DD1 has been told by loads of people that she needs to make me breakfast in bed tomorrow as it's my birthday, but I'd rather have a lie in and a nice coffee and toast when I finally wake up.
That's the really irritating thing, is someone bringing you breakfast when you azren't ready for it, and then you can't go back to sleep because you have just had a coffee. It's STUPID and I don't want one!
(oh, and yes, I am aware my diamond shoes are too tight)

YANBU, I always wake up bursting for a pee and by the time I have got up and walked to the bathroom there doesn't seem much point in walking back to the bedroom as it is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs next to the kitchen and living room. Breakfast in bed just seems pointless to me, I would prefer to eat it in the living room like I do every morning.

I make breakfast in bed for myself and my 2 year old ds sometimes.
It's great.. we have cereal, toast, tea (for me) milk for him.
I have a table next to my bed (like most people no?) so put things on there.
Put a towel on ds's knee for any spills.
He watches cbeebies and I read. bliss

I have a table next to my bed, it's got my work and clock and lamp and books and phone on it, so some bugger comes in with a tray and I have to launch up and move all my stuff, while sorting the pillows out, and I don't have enough pillows tfor it to be comfy as I only sleep with one, and then you are stuck. Last time I picked up the tray and came downstairs for company. Never Again.
And whoever mentioned not havign sex in case it gets the sheets dirty, there is a difference between sex stains and toast crumbs

I just cant stomach anything other than coffee before around 11.30am...yet every Mother's Day/Birthday and even last Sunday 'just for the hell of it' I get breakfast in bed made by my kids.
I thank them, tell them how lovely it all is and then send them downstairs whilst I tip it discretely into a carrier bag and slip it into the wheelie bin
