I mean, I can't be the only one, can I?

no

But removing myself 10 feet to a lovely breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants and coffee on my sunny balcony overlooking the ocean, that'd be fine. And an excellent birthday present.

I have my first coffee in bed (courtesy of DP) every morning and I love it! BBC Breakfast and my cup of coffee, while DP and DD are in the shower together. Oh, DD's 2 years' old, by the way! :)

He who never ate his bread in bed knows not how much crumbs can prick you.

It's a parody of a Goethe quote.

A cup of tea in bed every morning is a divine way to start the day.

No to cereal. That's just silly.

Can't say I'd object to munching toast in bed. Mmmm. Toast.

It's not weird for you not to like it, but everyone is different. Dh doesn't like it, I do. I get given it once a year on Mother's Day.....am an obsessively tidy eater (I hate crumbs in bed too) so it is not a problem, really nice. DH doesn't like it but does enjoy treats like fryups/pancakes done specially....probably because you can't really "pig out" in bed. Can't have breakfast in bed too often else kids will want to eat everything in bed!!

Cup of tea in bed every morning.

Would love to sometimes have actual breakfast (toast or croissants, not cereal - that would be silly) in bed, but DH doesn't approve of the crumbs

YABU - I love breakfast in bed. I prop the pillows up so I can sit and read with my kness up to support the book and DH usually does me bacon and egg sarnies and I eat them one-handed while reading. Lovely.
