To make Manshape peel my Lindt eggs...

I have a bag of lovely Lindt chocolate eggs.

They are very lovely indeed, but each one is individually wrapped, and i have to put my mouse down to unwrap them.

He's sat there doing nowt, and has on more than one occassion declared he'd do anything for me, so AIBU to make him peel them for me and feed me them?

I think YABVU not to share your Lindt eggs around.

I had Lindt for Easter sadly long gone.

YANBU - you are busy on mumsnet working and he is doing nothing.
It's the least he can do IMO (that and open a nice bottle of vino) :)

tinkgirl · 07/05/2011 20:10

YANBU in the least. Actually I think he should rub your shoulders as well Wink

onebigchocolatemess · 07/05/2011 20:23

I would be put out he hasn't offered already Grin

UKSky · 07/05/2011 20:30

ladies get yourself down to Asda. Our local one had PILES of them at 25p, yes just 25p per bag yesterday.

deemented · 07/05/2011 20:31

Good to know i'm NBU, but he's having none of it or my chocolate

HecateQueenOfTheNight · 07/05/2011 21:16

You have a pack of lindt eggs? Envy

I hope they give you the runs.

EspressoDoppio · 07/05/2011 21:18

Manshape? What awful new word is that?

deemented · 07/05/2011 21:22

It's not a new word. I've had him for years.

Terrible thing envy, Hec Grin

Bugger still won't peel them for me though.

It's Dee's special word for her DP. Only Dee is allowed to use 'manshape'.

HecateQueenOfTheNight · 07/05/2011 21:23

I hope it burns on the way out...

SarahStratton · 07/05/2011 21:24

Oh and I have a carrier bag FULL of Lindt bunnies. Proper ones not piddly little ones. They were TEN PEE EACH

And they are mine, all mine. Not gonna share with the DDs at all

SecretNutellaFix · 07/05/2011 21:25

you could have been prepared by pre-peeling all of them and sitting them in a bowl next to you. still, he is being a bit unreasonable, I suppose.

deemented · 07/05/2011 21:26

Well, just for that Hec, I won't send you one of the twelve few packs i have left. Harumph.

But that would require me taking my hands away from my laptop. SNF - sorta negates the point.

Do you want me to pray for a night on the throne for you too, sarah?

HecateQueenOfTheNight · 07/05/2011 21:29

Or I'll do terrible things to you...

No

I have to ferry a horde of teenagers who are out clubbing and then I have to make them a bloody fry up in the morning.

deemented · 07/05/2011 21:33

I call him manshape because thats what he is.

I don't call him DH becuase i have a DH, but he sadly died. And well.. i love manshape in a completely different way to DH. It would be very strange calling him DH. So that's why he's manshape.

I dont think one need to question anyones term of endearment.
I think you should let him peel the chocs, and feed you them. But not in front of pc. Wink
