AIBU?
to be devastated at finding a grey pubic hair

I'm 43 next month and, after a brief period of panic involving loads of research about facelifts and working out whether I could afford to get a loan for one, I think I've generally adjusted to the ageing process and am fairly philosophical about the wrinkles, greying hair, broken veins etc. But this has really upset me. Surely only really old ladies have a grey bush? And I can't imagine dyeing it. AIBU to be so depressed about it?

I do think humans kind of peak too soon - you reach your pinnacle of beauty and physical prowess in your early twenties and then have about sixty years of watching your body slowly fall apart. What really hacks me off is that, despite having numerous wrinkles, I still get fecking spots. I'm sure I read somewhere that your clit starts to shrink as well. Is there no end do the indignity?

I know exactly what you mean. I also have far too many greys (only one of THOSE though which is plucked out always). And am still using the same spot stuff as the household teens
Mum kindly informed me that pubes mostly drop out- why do they tell us this stuff?! Perhaps they get worn away by the Tena pads...
You'd better be bloody wrong about the clit shrinking though

Not found a grey fanjo hair yet, but I'm getting Old Eyebrows at 37. Two long long Denis Healey ones and now a sprinkling of white eyebrow bristles that make me feel like a pig.
YANBU - grey pubes is a sort of Rubicon, regardless of what you do to get rid of them/ignore them.
