I know a lot of you don't like football but there was a female assistant referee officiating the game between Wolves and Liverpool yesterday. 2 of Sky Sports' main announcers/commentators were caught off camera (but with the mics still turned on, unbeknownst to them) making these remarks...

As a man, I can honestly say she did a good job and a lot of us on The Football Ramble forum believe Keys and Gray were out of order. What is the female perspective?

He asks whether Jamie Redknapp had "smashed" [had sex with] "it" [ an unidentified woman Redknapp claims to have previously dated]

"every saturday you'd find Redknapp hanging out the back of it"

meaning that JR could be found attached via genitals to "it"

Quite frankly the man should be sacked and then divorced within the week. If he is ever anything but celibate again it will be a miracle

What an unpleasant man. It just about sums up his attitude towards women in general, though, it seems. Not just the professionally qualified, appropriately trained female colleagues he has to put up with () in the football industry.

Frankly, the derogatory language and way he talks about it is worse than what Andy Gray said.

I don't really have a problem with Keys' second comments tbh. He was being vulgar but I don't think it was any worse than that.

i searched you tube to try and find another clip and instead found many other off air screw ups by Keys. he really is a disgusting human being.

if you google "screen capture software for video" you could try one of the free or trial pieces of software to capture the video as a file?

i don't think keepvid.com/ or www.savetube.com/ type of sites will work since they've pulled it from the live website (these are websites that allow you to provide a you tube address URL and it will let you save the video locally)

Late to this thread, but of course it matters! Young boys and young adult males are one of the biggest groups of listeners/watchers of football, so the sexist attitude of presenters does matter, as it can influence them.

As i say, there was a clip from 2003 on youtube. the screen cuts to a foreign ground and he is heard off camara saying things like "shitty piss poor ground who cares fuck off" and generally sounding like the vile man he is.

He clearly has some very distasteful opinions on a great deal of things. I think for societies best interests he should be kept away from teh public.
